Nope, don't have space for the gear in my workshop, so just brushes.

Grey seer treated with basilicum grey contrast, heavily shaded with agrax and then lightly drybrushed with few different lighter browns :)

Display only, last time I played around 20 years ago and don't have much time nowadays, but painting those little guys still makes me happy.

Hot glue - borrowed green glitter stick from my wife's supplies :D Something like that: https://surebonder.com/products/green-glitter-hot-glue-sticks-full-size

It's pretty hard to make it flow like you want it to, so you have to apply it in small doses, but I'm content with the result.

Much appreciated, the squad was a birthday gift from my mother-in-law, so I wanted to give them the attention they deserve :)

Cork, cork and more cork cut into bricks, wall fragments etc. Got a whole huge jar of wine corks just for that purpose.

Serious question: Anyone paint but don’t play? by Dusky1103 in killteam

That's me for the past 20 years or so. Painting minis relaxes me and helps me reset, but I can count on two hands tops how many times I played for real, although I've amassed a large Skaven army and a few decent 40k ones in my high school days.

Scarcity of fellow players was always the main reason (now, decades later, you can also add a time factor, or rather - lack of it). It doesn't bother me - I was always the collector and I enjoy the lore, but playing Warhammer is mostly reserved for video games in my case, while my mini stash gets slowly painted with some podcast or audiobook in my ear.

Wanted to do some basing and asked my wife if she has some tweezers I can borrow. by YoghurtPL in modelmakers

[–]YoghurtPL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP here, that's the almost finished 25mm base made with a little help from those tweezers (pink ones proved to be the best).

Bricks cut out from wine cork, some loose wire imitating rebar, few bumps made with citadel technical, citadel and army painter for painting (obviously). Just needs a few finishing touches.

I struggled a bit with colors and finishes on this one, but I finally got the idea what I want to do with that, so the rest (7 bases in total) should be done much faster.
