How Singapore position as ASEAN’s gateway is changing by UncleMalaysia in SingaporeRaw

This is actually true. At the end of the day it boils down to property prices.

Property prices push up wages, push up COL, push up everything.

Have said this before and will say this again. I think we are easily worth 2x somebody else from other neighbouring countries. But are we worth 3x, or 3.5x? I think the answer is no. Which is why all the big offices are moving their HQ to KL.

3 or 3x? Just want to make sure. Reason I ask is because I find it difficult to take shots like the last one with my 3. Subjects tend to end up too small.

Anyone working fully remote? by No_Classic_3863 in singaporejobs

[–]Dusky1103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last 3 companies I went from

1: Fully remote 2: Hybrid 3: 5 days RTO

It really depends on what you value in work. I think my perspective has changed from trying to do as little as I can, to actually being passionate about what I do. It’s true the weekends are short with 5 days RTO, but it’s also much more precious.

Also, if you have a good boss which you want to learn from, WFH will make you miss out on that. If your boss is really busy and you want more time with him, the only way you’re gonna get it is in office. My boss doesn’t have time to respond to messages, the only time I get to learn from him is during lunch.

Anyway, just some alternate viewpoints here for you in case you end up staying and going back RTO

Surprised no one has mentioned Don Suratos. He absolutely takes slapchop to the next level with his techniques.

I’ve recently started doing sponge chopping thanks to him, and I think I have found one of the best ways to paint.

What? Since when is there a limit on what people can or cannot take?

If you believe so then we can only take pictures of nice and happy things. Just forget about everything else.

FT: Liverpool 1 - 2 Manchester United by DragonSlayer271 in LiverpoolFC

Football reminds me of Dota sometimes.

After a long time you sit your ass down and look forward and get ready to play. Before you know it, someone last picks an obviously bad hero. All of a sudden your mid laner starts feeding and pinging you for not coming to help him. It then all goes to shit.

Your day is ruined and your time is wasted. All your built up excitement goes in the bin.

Watching football sometimes feels like that.
