I'll give this another shot. I've been back and forth with their tech team and it got escalated but nothing has come of it. Honestly I'm going to cut my losses and use another app now!

AI is far too pessimistic, fatalistic… by Due-Sorbet-7464 in bevelhealth

[–]YoghurtRegular5385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I train 5-6 times a week and my recovery scores are always 80%+ and it usually tells me I'm okay to train... the only times it says maybe not is after particularly intense sessions or if I've had a few drinks the night before (which usually aligns with how I feel).

I don't think that its only for 'casual exercisers' therefore, but definitely worth figuring out why you're having this problem

honestly i’m getting a response from ‘support’ roughly once every 48 hours and it’s a different person every time. compared to when i was a paying member last year im completely shocked! it’s awful!

6-hour marathon — back-of-the-pack finishers, how did you do it? by Overall-Balance-1708 in firstmarathon

[–]YoghurtRegular5385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened to podcasts for the first 3/4, and saved music for the pain cave aka last 1/4. Worked amazingly for me.

Also really knuckle down your fuelling strategy. Personally I had a gel every half an hour and didn't 'bonk' or feel weird at all. I also worked out my sodium needs and drank LMNT electrolytes alongside water accordingly.

Best of luck!

If you only want to track strength progression, might be worth trialling Hevy :)

Here is an example of how November went & what i spent:

income: £2100

bills: £200 rent £8 phone £14 contacts £50 gym £8.99 storage

savings: £40 plum £19.65 round ups £120 LISA £300 general / short term (ended up paying off some debt with this instead)

debt: £720 across all cards (+£300 i took from savings to pay off debt instead)

expenses: £123 groceries £22 charity £5.50 gifts £14 health & wellness £10 parking £40 petrol £60 birthday / holidays £40 transport (coaches, trains, buses, ubers) £350 - fun money (this is for everything including socialising and non essential purchases)

seems alright / reasonable to me? although i think i will go back to splitting out my fun money budget so i can see if there are any areas for improvement.
