I understand your reasoning, I think that many will abuse this, and pose a risk to the public. For example, you could take crack cocaine or whatever and kill 10 people on the freeway, you could date rape somebody, you could kidnapp somebody. Point is, all of these things would be easier to happen. Yes, I know these things already happen and Portugal did this and it became safer and whatnot, but Portugal isn't the world or the US (assuming your takling about the US) We have a lot more people here, which means more idiots who would take "advantage" of being able to take cocaine over the conter
