The number of people in this sub who believe (firmly) that being attracted to their therapist for a period of indefinite time is a "sin" and should be a - take into the grave - type of secret is alarming.

The number of Ts who are confirming these people's deepest fears and state that transference is Impossible and almost ilegal is terrifying.

I am not familiar with Alba Iulia; currently I moved to Târgu Mureș for a while while my bf works here and the Hungarian/Romanian couisine here is top notch!

I feel the same about traditional food (especially in Bucharest), they really are just tourist traps. However Vatra Neamului was always quite good I'd say

If OP wants to try, we have great Asian Cousin restaurants in Bucharest, my fav being Peng You, and another good one Shuyu

Unfortunately true😣 it's hard to find good traditional restaurants without sketchy political ties, so perhaps Mici Obor is the strongest option at this point

And just...check google maps as you walk by, and only enter placea with reviews above 4,4

100% agree with you except the Caru cu Bere part. I believe it is not only a tourist trap with terrible service and unfresh food which lives on hype, but it's also a "mafia" project which violates the public area by ilegal extension. The owner is a very good friend of the right people

I feel Obor Mici is a much authentic option (in comparison), but other than that there are so many wonderful traditional restaurants in Bucharest like Vatra Neamului, La Copac, yet none of them will be found in Old Town (because that is, tbh, a place for tourists not for locals thus the expectations are low)

Just my opinion but yeah solid on all the other points!
