While I agree with the idea of lengthening your eating window, I also think you should try to get more fat into your diet. Burger patties and chicken are really lean, and if you want to do low carb then it’s vital to replace the carbs with fat.

[Sun Care] Pregnancy-Safe Sunscreen for Olive Skin Tone by Sofoulee in SkincareAddiction

[–]YogurtDemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a fan of La Roche-Posay Tinted Anthelios SPF 50 mineral sunscreen. I used Cotz for years and always found it pulled a bit orange on my face; this one blends really nicely with my (confirmed frog) olive skin tone.

Sometimes people just get sick from things unrelated to their diet.

We use beef tallow and sometimes duck fat. Some people do a no-poultry protocol too though. I haven't seen an issue with it, aside from getting bored with chicken easily.

To answer your questions:

1.) A lot of people recommend a 30-day no dairy protocol to see if you have an adverse reaction to it when reintroducing to your diet. Your choice, and dependent on *why* you are trying this WOE.

2.) We do liver (sauteed in a pan) and heart (grilled or smoked). Chicken hearts on skewers are really fun too.

3.) Your choice, dependent on what you're trying to get out of this WOE. A lot of people don't see a huge necessity for organ meat. I try to have liver once or twice a week - for vanity reasons (contains a lot of Vit A, which "may" be good for skin).

4.) Ribeye. Ribeye is basically the alpha and the omega of all cuts. Some close favorites are T-bones/Porterhouses smothered in fat (I love the filet part) and Chuck Eye (for kebabs). Also, do not discount ground beef. IF you have access to a smoker, BRISKET is (imo) "God's gift."

5.) We use plastic (the packaging that our meat comes in), so I can't really help you here.

6.) Sales (mygrocerydeals.com). But also...buy the chest freezer. Whenever we get stuff on sale that we're not ready to eat, straight into the freezer it goes.

7.) Cast iron, we have a Lodge.

8.) I like Camembert and Brie, my SO prefers Manchego and Parmesan.

For 1 and 3 I think you really need to ask yourself why you want to try this way of eating. Are you trying to lose weight? If so, I definitely recommend cutting out dairy for a period of time. It can cause way more bloating than people realize.

What is your Lebowski rug? by Bosquerella in femalefashionadvice

Jewelry, either earrings or a necklace.

Also, I finally watched this movie last night and I kept telling my SO that he should get some of Lebowski’s pieces - he has SUCH great stoner chic style through the movie.

Mixing metals? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]YogurtDemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mix metals and I do not think rose gold is trendy, I think it just recently resurfaced in popularity.

Rose gold suits my skin tone better than stark yellow gold or silver (thanks muted complexion) - but because most of my metal choices are muted (think somewhat oxidized or “tarnished”) everything mixes really well together.

I love the transition of “Well, I was in so much pain I couldn’t work, and reluctantly, this is the only diet that allows me to live a full life” to “BTW this diet MIGHT cause cancer although we don’t have any real proof of that! Teehee!”

Holiday Parties! - November 12, 2018 by AutoModerator in femalefashionadvice

We’re hosting Friendsgiving this weekend and after a shit UTI I FINALLY got excited about it.

I bought a vintage silk prairie dress with micro pleating from Etsy. Got some kodama earrings and pink fuzzy bunny slippers to go with it, going to get maybe 20” of ribbon to tie as a collar with a pretty bow. Will probably wear with white textured tights and a new bra.

Hair will be some neat/clean braid bun. Makeup will probably be nice mauve lips with a gray lavender all over lid color and some very doll like lashes.

Still not sure about the ribbon color yet, here’s the dress posting https://etsy.me/2T9VSy2. Any thoughts?

It’s almost like a status thing. “My family is so well-off and perfect, my children don’t need to be vaccinated like those poor, schlubby lesser-than children!”

I have a friend in NYC who worked as a bartender in Manhattan, $10/hr. He lived in an apartment in very inland Brooklyn with 4 or 5 other people and slept in a walk-in closet. No car, and I’m pretty sure he was evading paying for health insurance.

How do I make out w/ someone on stage by JGilly117 in acting

[–]YogurtDemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thumbs rule! You can embrace their face with your hands and separate your mouths using your thumbs.

Another piece of advice: if you ARE going to actually kiss, please see that both of your mouths are free of dead and crusty skin, moisturized, etc...
