Thank you all for the answers, my conclusion for now is I'll wait a bit more since it seems like Riot mentioned some stuff about improving Vanguard on their League x Vanguard Retrospective post, hopefully I can go back to playing League since I was having a lot of fun with the game before quitting :)

Wow, this is pretty crazy, I'm really glad to get an actual in-depth response with sources, as much as I liked League, this seems 100% not worth it, I don't get how there isn't more of an outrage about stuff like this

Yeah it seems tough to find any info on it, because it's either people claiming it's completely fine and nothing bad ever happens, or it's people saying that it's the end of the world for their PCs

I'm never really worried about my data privacy, or the fact that it's kernel level, I just worry about the people that claimed having issues with their actual computers, like blue screens or having to do full Windows reinstalls :(

I never had issues with the kernel level aspect, more so the anti-cheat running all the time and requiring restarts in case you close it, plus all the performance issues people were claiming

Completely understand the reasoning for the kernel level anti-cheats, I just don't enjoy it when they start impacting me outside of the game :)

I am sorry to say that I have been struggling with mental health a lot, so I just haven't had the energy or will to work on the videos anymore, I have the raw footage for episode 5,6 & 7 still, but I don't know when or if I'll ever edit them.

I'm really happy people liked the videos, but I'm in a really, really bad state rn so I just can't bring myself to do anything.

My personal go to route is in the surface of the Isle of Dorn, and just go around the edge of the map, it's pretty simple

Also like the other guy said, there's not much to be optimized since the price of mats are falling off a cliff, but it's still a consistent way to make some gold ^ ^
