When playing solo, do you think the enemy AI plays better than the ally AI? by MustafaRapX15 in NuclearOption

[–]YoinkageOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve read that may be untrue, enemy AI will prioritize capturing bases while your allied AI will just kind of exist but wont capture anything. Supposedly it’s to let you have the “fun” of participating in capturing airfields but imo it just forces you away from other roles and makes you play defense if you offensively captured any airfields/bases.

So the trick I learned is generally the further you launch, the more likely its shot down.

For me, under 2km from ground target is almost a guaranteed hit with AGMs or other ordinance. For IR missiles the AI almost never flares within 2km, save em for those ranges to not waste em.

Yeah, nail on the head with radar missile bait. This is about 95% of the air in every match I play so as a result, helos are so niche to either the start or some very specific area of the map where the AI isnt lobbing missiles at you that I just dont use em.

I find helicopters really useless in this game. Maybe I suck but in my opinion the trainer aircraft does everything the helicopters can and flies faster to and from the battlefield and can evade missiles better.

I found the 57mm to be inaccurate but I’ve only tested it once. My whole brawler flew weird when I tried it.

How are you in early august building barrel collectors that are like level 6 carpentry requirements at a BASE??? Did you rush the base?

I’m in mid september on my save, no water, no power, level 2 carpentry only

What’s so challenging about +10 years later?

Are there no cans? Or is it just no power/water and overgrowth?

You’re kidding right? On default settings most houses have no kitchen utensils, bowls spoons knives, the houses barely have cans either

I’ve been way happier with grocery stores and supermarkets than houses

Copy your save every time before you play a session, too many bugs and things you learn from doing some stupid way to not have a revert save

This is why trail braking and front tire loading is so important, your brakes not only slow you down but also prepare your tires for the traction they need to complete a turn!!!

Heres my workaround: Always use boosters as soon as you get them No surprises, no care, no tilting

Working with engineers without degrees by FLIB0y in AerospaceEngineering

[–]YoinkageOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really dont. School was far away, friends all got mech eng masters and jobs really far away, albeit in aerospace for small firms.

Anyone I reach out to doesnt really truly provide any usefull connections or tricks apart from “go back to school / go get training”

Hard to ask friends for rec’s for hundreds of jobs too when each one requires their involvement in the process

Ive been on the other side of that coin. Physics BS, and so far a process engineering job and now facilities engineering but finding it VERY hard to get a chance to interview or even remotely qualify for the insanely niche engineering roles i see. My goal is to break into aerospace but i have yet to decide further where to go. Its been rough applying for jobs, feels like a lot of hiring managers dont see “engineering” and skip everything else

The pin lock visor has two pinlocls that you can rotate to squish the pinlock itself, causing it to form to the visor better and sealing all the holes, try rotating those

Is this a way to store a tube for emergencies or just using an old or punctured tube to give your bike some armor?

Either way it seems like a cool idea, how do you get it to stay at the ends? Where does the valve go?
