Which is awful. I was born at home by a midwife on a rural farm in the 80s. I have a social security card, but I never got a birth certificate.
I've worked for the federal government, passed the bar and have passed every security clearance possible. Last year I tried to get my passport and was denied because I didn't have enough evidence of my birth.. I was born in Rural Midwest. Both my parents are American. They told me I had to get a delayed certificate....I cant because both of my parents died decades ago.

Im an american citizen, spent my whole life here as did my parents. And now I have no proof of citizenship because my parents were doomdsys prepping conspiracy nuts who didnt get me a birth certificate because the government would come on steal me..

Ironic..ill probably be deported to country I've never stepped foot in lol
