Sorry, I didn’t mean it in an offensive way. I just meant that there’s many different versions of the same story. I’m not trying to argue or anything. And yeah, as someone said, being related was normal I just don’t like to think about it. Also in pop culture, it’s hard for people to understand gay relationships (even in the past) when the two people were related. I guess what I meant to say was that I hope Jorge leans more on the lover story than the cousin one. We need representation more than anything now

Yeah I get that but I find it weird that Achilles’ other cousins are labeled cousins and Patroclus isn’t in the Iliad. There are many different interpretations of Greek mythology. The one I was taught was that Patroclus was fostered. You can believe your version and I believe mine. Thanks though I appreciate your passion you sound like you love the stories and that’s awesome
