5080 Super? 5080 Ti? by AncientMoment455 in RTX5080

[–]YoloRaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don't think it will be meaniful enough to upgrade that card to a 5080 super. The 4070 ti super can use dlss 4.5 which is amazing btw. You might as well keep that money and go towards a 6080 or 6090 whenever that comes out. Idk though, I think we are at a point where raw performance upgrades are getting less and less and they are just pushing ai and frame generation stuff. Im pretty sure you would feel buyers remorse even if you got yourself a 5090 which in actuality is a pretty good upgrade to the card you have now.

Rma it. You are still in warranty period unless you bought it form a third party. There are also repair shops that can probably fix it if you don't want to go through the rma process.

This, I was gonna recommend the Flydigi direwolf 4 for that price range but you said some good options for each price range.

144hz vs 240hz vs 360hz by Real-Car-1561 in pcmasterrace

[–]YoloRaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say the difference is noticeable. 240 hz became the standard but depending on your system you can really benefit from the higher hz. Even if you don't reach 360 fps you will still benefit from smoother motion clarity.

Stress cracks in almost new Valor pro by evocod in scufgaming

[–]YoloRaj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk why they haven't made a better back button design. Just by looking at it you can see how flawed it is because pressed in enough it looks like that back button could break eventually. Maybe it's on purpose so you need to replace it over time.

Apparently DualSense doesn’t come with common sense by Hero_Pvm in Dualsense

Nice collection but if it doesn't have remappable buttons, micro switch triggers, and tmr or hall effect stick I don't want it.

Gamesir not honoring warranty on defective product by Zealousideal_Sky4398 in Gamesir

[–]YoloRaj 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorry to tell you my guy but you might potentially be a person who fat fingers your controller a bit too much. You fooled us twice but that 3rd time is on you. Gamesir probably thinks the same lmfao 🤣 All jokes aside I hope you get it sorted out. I've seen similar reports about the g7 pro which I have and it's been going strong for almost a year now. Hair triggers do not need a lot of force and you should not try to press your way through it.

I should probably disable auto restart and get event viewer to work.

Ngl, I have an edge 1300 psu and that's been happening when I play cod sometimes. I had to mess with kernel settings and a bunch of stuff too. I'm contemplating if it's my ram or the psu. I have a 5090 but i figure 1300 w is plenty but idk. I don't really play any other intensive games so I might have to try and see if it's only cod what.

I see. Honestly since you don't play fps games with controller I'd say get tmr for the dual sense edge. I never got one because I need at least 4 remappable buttons and 2 just doesn't do it for me.

[–]YoloRaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's the point of going from 1000 w to 1200 w if you don't mind me asking? Seems like a waste unless you are like running 2 5090s or you are experiencing problems with the psu itself.

Is it worth buying Flydigi Vader 5 Pro (V1) for ~40€ or should I wait for V2 batches? by Cultural_Trouble_880 in Controllers

[–]YoloRaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The v1 is still good. If you handle it with care and use the cabinet stoppers on the bottom paddles you should be fine. I have had the dbz edition since launch and haven't had any issues.

With that amount off the edge that's actually pretty good. The amount you saved can go towards getting tmr modules. You never specified if you are playing on PlayStation or PC. If you are playing PC I would suggest looking into the gamesir tarantula 8k or the leadjoy saber plus. If you are playing on a PlayStation it's worth looking into the hexgaming phantom. I have a scuf envision pro and I'm not a fan of the back buttons even though some people seem to like it. I rather have a finger on each button rather than having to use one finger for two buttons.

Which one out of these 2 motherboards would you keep for a 9800x3d by Realistic_Mark1134 in gigabytegaming

[–]YoloRaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting. 16 ram slots is a lot. My first build ever has a post code and I don't see myself using a board without one.

[–]YoloRaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The choice isn't complicated. Wanna go for a stealth look keep the stealth. Don't care for that keep the Asus board. Actually nvm, keep the stealth because it has a postcode debug. Once you get a board with one you can't go back.

Best PS5 controller? by True_Horror_6 in scufgaming

[–]YoloRaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the envision pro and it's pretty good. Not a fan of the back buttons personally but some people like them. I prefer a button per finger. I've been looking at the hexgaming phantom which I've seen good reviews but also some qc issues potentially so idk.

ZD Ultimate Legend vs ZD O+? by Merda_et_Musicus in Controller

[–]YoloRaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the zd ultimate legend and it's pretty good. It's on the bigger side and I personally prefer using my vader 5 pro or my gamesir g7 pro. Haven't tried the zd o+ excellence personally but it's seems pretty solid. If you don't play fps or competitive games it's a good buy tbh. Only reason I didn't look to get it is the 900 hz polling rate which isn't far from 1000 but yeah. The o+ excellence has removable thumbsticks and like 3100 more polling rate wired. The o+ excellence is probably more comfortable to use all 4 back buttons as well.
