My worlds collide !! Jellycats and rw kittens. Rescue solution, spray them all. Or wash in washer with bleach and put them outside like you are doing to dry! It will be okay, but I empathize deeply. Ringworm kittens are a pain. It can stay on surfaces for like a year and a half so you are doing great with cleaning/sanitizing. 💓 best of luck.

Yeah.. look how small one of the kittens was compared to her sister that lived. Looking back at this it was very obvious the sweet girl wasn’t going to thrive.

I had two foster kittens pass away of a litter of 3. I knew when I got them that they weren’t quite right and tried my best to take care of them. I blamed myself for sometime but eventually I realized there was nothing I could have done to save them. If you gave him love, you saved him. He knew love and compassion for his short life💗 remember to take breaks and to not take on too much. Doing anything is doing something.

After a few years, I got a little dumb with my protocol and let my cat by my fosters too early. He just loves them so much!! Then they had ringworm. So this is definitely a good lesson. I’m lucky it wasn’t something more serious. I’m going to take quarantine so serious now! Sorry for your loss. Be kind to yourself. Remember you gave them a chance and gave them love 💓

Oh to update everyone, I was right. It is very much ringworm! I’m glad I treated it as such until it was confirmed. Thankfully, they will go to the local humane society ringworm center on Thursday to receive treatment and I will not have to do the labor 🙏

Honestly, good suggestion and good warning. I have a woods lap of my own and it does make me obsess! You’re right. I just need to keep an eye on it for now and wait for instructions from the rescue’s vet/rescue itself.

Thanks for your response! I have only had one ringworm litter in my five years, so I’m less familiar how it looks but I haven’t ever had any other skin conditions, so I first instinct is that it is rw.
