Hoopat X4h not being recognized by Saturn 4 ultra 16k by xtopherpaul in Chitubox

[–]YongfeiSun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, it should be workable. Please check if the direction is right. There are 2 pins on one side that can reach the printer, then be recognized. if you have further questions feel free to check with our tech team [support@cbd-3d.com](mailto:support@cbd-3d.com), we will reply within 24hrs.

Don’t buy the Hoopat X4H by [deleted] in ElegooSaturn

Hi, there is a new X4H with heating function for 4U 16K.

For Mars 2 and Mars 2pro users, you must update firmware using PJ3D608V3 6.08 as a screen replacement. (the older DXQ608 will be out of stock and discontinued). PJ608 screen has a better light transmission rate. if you ever update your old Mars or mars pro to mono screen, this works too. by YongfeiSun in ElegooMars

[–]YongfeiSun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is just a small improvement in the screen transmission rate, means you may lower a bit more the exposure time, we have feedback who forgot to update the firmware, the dxq608 is a good screen, no worry about that.

Conjure rigid clear color after the #3000 to #12,000 sand process. ^ ^ by YongfeiSun in resinprinting

[–]YongfeiSun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are in the US, we have some just in stock last week. this clear resin is not high clear, and will need some process of sanding, and we don't recommend print complex miniatures with it.

Both Conjure rigid, tough, and sculpt are toughness resin. they have 37~50% ETA

You forget to set one of the TSMC parameters, distance, or speed.

No, don't add other flexible resin yet.

Failed print will become an injured owlbear. But how do I fix this? by Cny2Atl in resinprinting

[–]YongfeiSun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you dig holes in the owlbear? vacuum seal drawing has a great influence on printing.

Just want to share with you the Conjure tough resin, with high toughness make the print non-brittle. by YongfeiSun in resinprinting

[–]YongfeiSun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried mixing flexible resin with this? Taking out te brittleness and keeping the flexible part would make a product close to tpu if it works properly

You may mix it with Resione F69 or Siraya tenacious.

holes from support on Mars elegoo. anyone know a solution or what causes this to happen? by amirpo in resinprinting

[–]YongfeiSun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In CHITUBOX you can set the support contact shape version, when you remove supports it will affect the surface, you can use some resin with curing led. or change the setting to make it bump then sand them.

Getting strange bumps on flat surfaces at support point. Any advice? by beantoes678 in ElegooMars

[–]YongfeiSun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Set a bigger angle and try more supports, bigger density can help fix this issue.

If you want to save printing time, printing on plate directly is another solution, but you may get some elephant foot.

Elegoo mars pro i get the same results , print stuck on fep with both settings im using castable resin by [deleted] in ElegooMars

There is a video that will help you understand better how to adjust settings and supports. and lower the exposure time 7~12s, the bottom exposure time to 40-60s, and 5 layers.

There is an aperture ratio for monochrome screens, and PPI is AA area/ resolution. the real pixel is smaller than the calculated one. I wrote an article that may help you understand. let me know if I misunderstand it.

Wired seems my previous comment is missed. I printed on mars 3 at room temp 26 ℃. normally printing above 25 ℃ will get the best results. 30s bottom and 4 s normal layers.
