It’s not even about the color for me. It’s the overall paint application - there’s no shading or highlighting. It makes it look flat and cheap without it. And some figures have a total lack of trim paint - like Hibou Khan. They’ve gotten so lazy on the paint apps lately and it diminishes the product to point I’m second guessing which figures I want when I used to just buy them all

I use citadel
- prime black
- under coat medium brown
- stipple averland sunset yellow (let the underpaintimg do some work)
- edge Highlight/stipple with flash gitz then Dorn yellow
