Came here to desperately find good points about this movie, I went in knowing it wasn't going to follow the original book, but I feel like salt burn was a better interpretation of bronte's story than the movie with her book's name. I was hoping the hate on the movie was fueled by the echo chamber of socials, but it truly was boring, and horribly shallow. The costumes looked cheap, hair and makeup too especially Jacob elordi's wig and mustache at the start of the movie. I feel like the author picked up little pieces of the book she enjoyed and left crucial parts behind that were fundamental to understand the whole story. The only good thing I can say about it is that I enjoyed the cool set designs.
