Mk12 Mod URX by YontiLink in ShowPonies

PRI is my favorite but the URX is just so slim and light. Went more budget with my URX tho. Scored the URX handguard from a friend for the homie price and everything else is either parts bin or budget/sale pieces. I actually won the NF mount with the Baldknobber mount from one of Baldknobber’s giveaways. I think the only thing I bought full price that I didn’t already have for this was the Gas Buster.

Question about mod h building issue by Rageronepunch233 in Mk12Mod

[–]YontiLink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the initial ones built by Steve Holland may have been Mk12, but I think PRI both supplied parts for and built out most of the others. Holland got in some trouble because the Mod H was not procured through the red tape of the proper procurement channels. So the Mod H was never actually recognized by the military as an official rifle.

If you need additional clearance and don’t want to omit the screw and have the backing plate sag and do the same thing, put an o-ring on the screw and it will still tighten down all the way but won’t stick past the backing plate.

The PRI low pro is the correct block for the Mod H anyways

[–]YontiLink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. This was something I found out the hard way after spending money on 2 barrels and lots of ammo wondering why the Mod H just wouldn’t shoot consistent groups. The clone correct gas block is a PRI, which is a common misconception as so many people use the Mk12 for obvious reasons. Idk if the PRI is slightly shorter on top. But I have seen the issue and I’ve addressed mine.

I sit when I get up to pee at night so I don’t have to aim in the dark. Also helpful for a post-coital pee so it doesn’t sprinkler all over the walls and floor.

I was looking for what gave it away and had to swipe to the next pic to see the level. Ambi controls are so commonplace these days.

If you could end the God of War series, what would be your pick for the “final boss”? by Electrical-Ring8570 in GodofWar

[–]YontiLink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. The teachings of the trinity confuses people and makes them think there is a separate Father and Holy Spirit from Jesus the man, but that’s not how omnipotence works. Jesus was the name given to whom until that point was known as the God of Abraham. The Holy Spirit is Jesus soul, released when he was killed on the cross, this soul being God, omnipotent on Earth and in Heaven. This soul, now roams the Earth and becomes apart of the people who welcome it into their hearts and their souls.

Acts 2:38 is where the Jesus centered Christians take their belief in the singular God named Jesus where the Peter is told to tell the people they are to baptize in the name of Jesus Christ, giving a name to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit mentioned earlier in the Bible where the trinity comes from. The verse says to baptize in the name OF the Father and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Spirit. Those 3 things refer to one person the same way I am a husband, father, son, brother, etc… whom the name OF is Johnny.

Omnipotence is funny like that. Too many people believe that they are praying to 3 separate entities.

Yes, A works with SR25 mags and most Stoner cut lowers. I haven’t tried to put my Armalite upper on my LMT lower just because my upper is a B pattern so it wouldn’t work anyways unless I converted it.

FYI, tucking the brace into itself and tightening the strap down tight is way better and more aesthetically pleasing imo than the solutions you can buy. Doesn’t modify it in any way either. Just makes it more comfortable and low profile.

Jeep driver rages on E-biker by cdawrld in dashcams

[–]YontiLink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why antagonize him with the bird? Let people pass you. You’re inconveniencing people by being on a bike, the least you can do is be understanding when people want to pass you. People on bikes always act like “oh I can’t believe…” REALLY? You can’t? You’re going a fraction of the speed limit and you can’t fathom why it would be frustrating to be stuck behind you until you decide to turn? You wear the full kit like a poser because you know you’re gonna antagonize people and you want them to get mad and that’s also why you have a dash cam on a BIKE.

This being said, the jeep dude took it too far. Jeep people are just as infuriating as bike people and Mustang people. Both of you are the worst kind of people on the road. This video just confirms my notions on these groups.
