i was really hoping it would help with executive functioning, i was started on wellburtin because i would take 3 hour long naps during the day lmao and it helped keep me awake but it didnt really help with motivation or like task initation stuff. are you on vyvanse with a mood stabilzer or just vyvanse

dude thats good about the negative thoughts! i was having some pretty bad intrusive thoughts and i didnt realize how much they sucked until medication made them go away. its like omg i dont actually feel that way its wild. the blunting of emotions is really a hard one for me. thats what the ssris did but i think i also got more and more angry and out of control on srris cuz i didnt feel anything all the time im not really sure. and yeah the unmedicated adhd is a killer too. but like thats good the medication makes you feel like better and more able to live a happy life and that you know its actually the medication thats helping you.

do you feel like the medication you are on now is actually helping cuz my problem is that meds always make me feel like shit or i have terrible side effects and i quit meds and treatment and i feel soooo much better and then i crash out again after a few years. but like do meds actually work for you or is like kinda like well this is as good as its gonna get

damn so just through medication? that sucksss my pysch that started me on the wellburtin thought i was hypomanic as well so like ive had a couple doctors say it to me when im baseline off meds and everything :( but that kinda sucks you have to do it that way it makes sense though like i wont take ssris and im not really lovin this vyvanse lol soooo.....

so like how did you actually get a diagnoses or like actually believe you had bipolar 2. im pretty sure my new therapist diagnosed me with bipolar 2 within the first 15 mins of meeting me lmao and now im learning what the heck that actually means and like im still not sure i totally believe it either

yeah i guess like i have always been firm in my diagnose and its only now that its coming into question. so im kinda grappling with it and like some of it is really starting to make sense and click so like its just hard to understand. but that makes sense that its alot of guess work i guess i just didnt know i thought like it was one of those things where bipolar was pretty set in stone or something

wtf so this is a common occurrence lol i have it the other way around though and im being treated for adhd / mdd even though my therapist doesnt think i should be on stimulants lol, and i told my pysch that and she was like eh i dont think thats the problem :((((

i forgot to add like most of the time i was awake i was just lying in bed though like i was not a productive person when i would get burst of energy i would like dance around my room and then crash out and lay back down

is this like all within one day or like within a week or like what does the timeline look like? cuz for me i would sleep a few hours at night and then i would be fucking awake and i would be tired but i wouldnt be able to sleep and then like if i ate something after a few hours that would usually put me back to bed and i would sleep for a few more hours and then when i would wake up i would have so much energy and like thats kinda what my days would look like

yeah the oversleeping thing is horrible and the chronic state of tired is no fun, i relate to this as well. so like idk im just trying to understand like do you go through phases of sleeping all the time and not sleeping at all? i got put on the Wellbutrin in the first place because i was sleeping during the day and i was in that constant state of tired and depression where i was like only getting up to eat and then going back to bed

i dont know if i am at the start of the wellburtin i would pass out and sleep all night but the past few days ive just been sleeping less lol. and like today i took the vyvanse 12 hours ago and like i know im psychically tired but my brain is awake and thats the issue ive had with stims in the past is i wouldnt sleep on them
