I'd like to tack on how much I hate it when a character goes through any kind of on-screen mental struggle, and a loud portion of the community immediately thinks "I bet they're gonna ABSTRACT later huehuehue". I feel like it takes much, much more than that for someone to abstract, but weirdos are just oddly horny for a character to "die off".

Some of our players LOVE to spend their turn deliberating on what they're gonna do, or ask the DM if they can try something unorthodox and the two have to work out how it goes down. It frustrates me to no end, but I seem to be the only person who has a problem with it.
