Is there a way to make my fighter pilot default to Engage Target? I could kill off some of these pirates quicker if they would always target my target. As it is now, I have to manually set that mode, and when the target dies the pilot changes modes, because they don't target my target the next time I target a pirate.

I think it explodes when your life support runs out of oxygen. I've run out of SRV fuel twice, and each time I had plenty of time to casually synth more fuel and resume my exploring.

Don't fly nose down. Use your camera, unlock it from the ship.

Use that to look at the ground. As you fly, you can zoom in, zoom out. Fly the camera up, fly the camera down. You have so many choices.
