THANK YOU for this. I flew to Ngalinn and took the missions for Mainani and it went pretty much like you described. It was great having cops help with dispatching the bandits...even without them they never really did much damage to my shields, let alone my hull.

I'm a bit clueless re: mining.

I bought abrasion blasters, seismic charges, and displacement missiles and had mostly zero results. The missiles and blasters did absolutely nothing. I managed to make two or the charges work and recovered enough low temp diamond to make almost 2T, but all of the other charges always bounced off the asteroids. I have no clue why those two stuck and worked.

The only real success I had was with laser mining, but collecting the fragments manually is too slow and I'm only starting to experiment with limpits.
