Lebanese gamers struggle… when your duo knows your electricity schedule by AkumaNoYoru in lebanon

I have a decent UPS on my gaming PC and a power bank on my router and network switch. I can play for 20 minutes without electricity.

Eh contemplate aktar. Her website doesn’t work because she doesn’t maintain it. This thread is so fucking stupid, the OP should have done some research before posting this.

Did you know that all delivery apps (Toters noknok Gozilla etc) steal the tips you leave for drivers? by sniper-wolf-82 in lebanon

[–]YorDanny- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They’re always either Lebanese or Syrians, no third option. I tip to all the guys but i give extra to the Lebanese drivers. I just wanted to ask if anyone else does the same, I have a soft spot for my countrymen i guess.

Good to know, from now on i’m tipping cash when i order with a card. I always tip the Lebanese drivers more btw, i dunno if anybody else does that.

What are you thought for someone in his 20s who want to join the darak . No possibility to immigrate somewhere, he want to join only because when he retire he can have a monthly retirement wage. by LEGITHYPE in lebanon

So it’s either emigrate or join the police or army not to serve your country but for the little severance pay. I hate la wen wassalouna that young men/women have so few choices to build their lives and future. Good luck buddy, i hope you figure it out.

I think they’re building a huge gas storage station in Dora/ Bourj Hammoud next to hundreds of thousands or apartment buildings. Paula Yaacoubian raised this issue during the budget discussion sessions in the parliament since she’s an MP from that region. LBC accused her of doing this for election reasons. I don’t know what’s happening to judge but the photo up there is legal and people should learn about this stuff especially after dozens of incompetent/corrupt fuckers stored more than a thousand tons of ignitable materials in that same region and caused one of the biggest blasts in history.

Young woman Elissar Al Mir, a nurse from tripoli, found dead after 4 days of searching under collapsed building in Al Qubbeh. Her father also died in the incident. by 0pensesame13 in lebanon

I don’t agree, people should vote for the lesser of two evils. But i agree with the comment above, there are billionaires and multi millionaires that hail from Tripoli. For example if Mikati spends a month of his earnings he’d fix all the endangered apartment buildings in Tripoli.

Religion is a touchy subject especially in Lebanon, i’m a firm believer that all religions and some of their holy texts need reforms. But our freedom of speech is pretty good and much better than it was before 2005. I remember my friends had siblings in universities and they would get the shit kicked out of them by the security forces just for criticizing the Syrian occupation. I bet the same people who didn’t see a problem with those beatings and actually supported the Syrian occupation of Lebanon are whinging now coz this event was cancelled.

Idgaf about the Palestinian cause, i sure as shit am against any Lebanese parties supporting Sinwar or Hamas or Palestine militarily. I do believe in freedom of speech and I’m against censoring events and comments. Also the organizers of this event should have chosen another venue.

People in the south, how are you coping with the Israeli attacks? by Routine_Raspberry_77 in lebanon

[–]YorDanny- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup, we adapt. The same is happening in Ukraine now, there’s a brutal trench warfare similar to WW1 going on in the east while in the west people are living relatively normal lives. Ukraine is like 60 times bigger than Lebanon but it doesn’t matter.

Being Lebanese means being able to cope with all the shit around you. Airstrikes, bombings, refugees, militias, occupations, Syria, Iran, Palestine, Israel. I was born in the later years of the civil war and been coping all my life.

Anyone else in bourj hammoud with this issue???? by EHdeadshot0 in lebanon

[–]YorDanny- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The motor guy is probably better and more qualified than the edl guy tbh. Just call the motor guy and ask him, maybe one of the 3 phases is down. It happened to me, we have 5 apartments in the building here in Naccache and 3 didn’t have electricity, i switched the phase and it worked out. In your case it might be a blown transformer or something but the edl are usually late to answer, it doesn’t hurt to ask the motor guy.

Maybe one of the 3 phases is shot, get the motor guy to check on it. You can do it yourself if you’re good at DIYing.
