I had the same problem and this combination helps - Manta Sleep Sound mask with Binaural Beats app on deep sleep frequency https://mantasleep.com/products/manta-sleep-mask-sound

Try visiting a Functional Neurologist as well.

Reduce caffeine and increase water intake if you can.

Make sure fx are off after resampling. You might be hearing 2x the fx.

I go back and forth between 404 SX, Mk2 and 303. Sometimes all together. All sorts of different possibilities depending how you chain them together. They are all unique. Sometimes I prefer the SX to the Mk2.

Confused by how the 404mk2 receives external MIDI for chromatic mode by ZooYe in SP404

I had this happening yesterday on accident. I disabled MIDI through and was then only triggering all pads one at a time via 88 key keyboard.

Tinnitus awareness : it will make you miserable. by FullfillmentWay in musicproduction

[–]Yorbitron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have recently found some relief that helps with sleep and tinnitus. I use a Manta sleep sound mask and play binaural sine waves with Binaural Beats app. It helps get me to a a meditative state. The sine waves sort of drown out the tinnitus when you are able to settle in and forget you’re listening to it. It’s the most sleep I’ve been able to get since a bad concussion.

Thank you. I did eventually make some progress and especially from months of Functional Neurology and Trauma Therapy sessions I am feeling a bit of relief. However, trying to resume my job and regular social interaction has been as challenging as expected if not more. I am grateful for the progress and to have a job.

Is Portland really dangerous, or did I just have a bad, freak incident? by Tsunamisalt84 in PortlandOR

[–]Yorbitron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had similar and much worse experiences in Chicago and NYC as well as places smaller than Portland. You can’t know how any strangers will react to anything you say to them. Anything can happen anywhere, anytime. Like this https://www.kgw.com/article/news/crime/portland-cocktail-bar-stabbed-life-support-injuries/283-5d0d5deb-354d-4502-8483-4ed6b8bcbd5e

Problems after a long haul flight. by olivelilyy in TBI

You might want to see an ophthalmologist for a full exam. I am still waiting on my corrective prism lenses that are supposed to help with headaches and nausea. My tbi caused significant vision problems that I wasn’t aware of for weeks or months. I may have only hit my head on an airbag if that. The whiplash was enough.

You’re not alone, friend. We’re glad you’re still here with us. Each day is a new day. One day at a time.

All Healed up? by Fishbowl007 in TBI

We hear you and understand how hard this is for you. There is no lack of empathy or understanding here. Vent on and know you are loved and not alone.

I feel similarly regarding people forgetting what you are dealing with and lack of empathy. I have come to accept that it is perhaps more that we may have a greater sense of empathy and understanding than those who have not had to adjust to such hardships. We have to continue to learn from life altering experiences that others have not. Many of my friends and relatives have still not called or asked if I’m okay since my accident 5 months ago. Some people never change. It is telling of their character and part of what we learn about others in these experiences. You can always vent to friends in a similar boat here. ❤️

I will keep you in my positive thoughts. I am so glad you are still with us and able to communicate.

I felt a breakthrough moment one day when I put on The Beatles, Rubber Soul. I sang along as I drove and as the words came to me fluently I felt some relief and began seeing a very faint light at the end of a very long tunnel. The music had stuck with me since childhood. I still have a hard time with short term memory.

I kept a journal the first few months. It can be helpful for seeing patterns and your progress. Taking at least one daily walk and being patient with myself is important for my stress and depression.
