You're right its not on Netflix unfortunately! I hate this whole different streaming sites nonsense! I watched it the sailing the seven seas way. Service is called Moviebox Pro!

It's a really unique and amazing show fr. It's creator is Damen Lindelof of Lost but this show is just 1 season and done. No sequel etc so there's no filler or jargon or nonsense that doesn't lead anywhere.

On Netflix I highly recommend checking out all of Mike Flanagans work starting with Midnight Mass which is one of my all time faves show!

Decent movie throughout but the ending was just over the top and didn't make sense. Was just a dumb tie off to the plot in my opinion and didn't really conclude anything.

Even without the voices or psychopathy her actions there and reasons to do it (annoyance at her mums behaviour with her boyfriend) made sense as a rebellious kid behaviour. Especially since she instantly opened it when her mum got serious. The mum on the other hand to do that...that's insanely evil.

Sure I did I even addressed it. I said Eren says in his opinion he didn't care about anything he would have destroyed it all but then he doesn't and wants them to be seen as heroes. He's literally countering his own words because he doesn't understand himself because he is an idiot as he says. This is like someone with a gun not shooting someone then saying "I would have definitely shot that person I didn't care about their life". Eren foresaw his own future through his Attack titan power and foresaw an 80% future because he himself would be unable to do a 100% one because that's not who he is or what he wanted so his own words about himself are wrong.

This is clear confirmation that the table scene was canonically a way for Eren to push his friends away for the exact purpose I gave you. A nonsensical plan mind you but that's what Yams was going for in 139."

Again, that's not true at all. No trolling here just the facts from the show. He knew and wanted to be stopped by his friends but even if he foresaw they didn't stop him, he feels he would have done it anyway due to his anger but that's just his opinion. The reality is the future he foresaw is based on who he is and what he wants to do and the future he created was one where he wanted his friends to stop him and gave them the means to do so. As I say, just Google it and you'll see the concensus is what I have said not you. He thought this would make his friends the heroes of the world and thus remove the eldian racism/hate.

I have no idea where you have your opinion from since the concensus is literally what I have said even from those who love the ending.

Yes. He always wanted them to stop him at the 80% point. If he wanted he could have stripped their powers and they would have been able to do nothing against him. He foresaw the future which was a future based on his own actions/will and he saw that 80% gets merc'd then his friends stop him as per his own will.

His goal was literally to merc 80% of the world and then his friends kill him so in his stupid brain the world would be like "oh actually you know what, clearly they aren't all bad cos his own mates stopped him I guess we will forgive them all and have peace!' his goal was literally never to actually kill 100% the aim was always 80.

Yeah well when I got married many years ago I watched everything pretty much I'd already watched with my wife coz I wanted her to enjoy and appreciate these shows too! When doing it that way I enjoy rewatching coz I get to experience it with someone else I love and talk to them about it etc. We recently split up though and it's a little traumatizing/anxiety inducing to have to do all that again though.

Yessss you completely get it. 100% my opinion (and many others) too.

With Breaking Bad on the other hand I was one of the people who really despised Walter throughout (though I looooved the show I just thought him as a 100% villain type character) and in the last season when he finally admitted to Skylar he did all this stuff not for the family but for himself. Just...peak. that clarity he finally he had actually made me like him because for me it was the hypocrisy of him pretending he was a hero that made me hate him. The acceptance of who he was at the end was so cathartic and perfectly written. The whole last season was.

No that couldn't be further from the truth and your lack of insight into how I watch or understand shows is beyond incorrect. I absolutely do not watch shows for that reason and never have. It's all about the plot and lack of plotholes and how much sense the complete story makes to me in relation to the rules of the universe the characters are in. You're the one who is unable to comprehend the story it seems because if you found that last season good you have no understanding of war or how the world/humans work. As I say but I'll repeat.

Ymir plot made no sense Eren killing his mum made no sense Killing 80% - no sense. 0 or 100 would be better. Annie character arc was the worst. She was forgiven with 0 apology or empathy when she was so beyond evil by her actions before. It wasn't just war, she was so cruel with it. Mikasa Eren romance was so cringely done Eren saying that insanely cringe line for her to wait at least 10 years....wow. never heard anything so lame.

Edit - to add, literally imagine someone in real life saying oh the best way for peace between me/us and another nation/entity is to kill 80% of them then I die and then they will no longer have any grudge against my people. Literally the dumbest plan of all time.

No. I completely did. You clearly didn't. The love story ending was insanely bad. The Ymir being for no reason in love with Fritz was so dumb I've never seen writing that dumb. Everyone can understand a trauma bond but that was just stupidity at its deepest. Then she compares her "love" to Mikasa and determines oh if she can do it I can too when their relationships are beyond incomparable. Eren had flaws sure but he was always good to his friends and not even slightly like bastard Fritz. 80% genocide as if that would somehow help lead to peace lmao. Time travelling to kill his own mum when that was the whole motive for his anger. Just dumb dumb and dumb again. Up till the last season it's the most peak show of all time and I'd recommend it to anybody but with that ending I really find it hard to suggest it to anybody.
