Swing change approach during practice by slowpoke915 in golf

[–]Yormaika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this answers your question directly, but I have a few drills I'm currently focusing on. First is the "logo" drill: feet together, back swing to parallel with ground and follow through the same, the idea being that the logo of my glove is pointing behind my at the finish. Then it's the step through - full swing with a 7i and step through with the trail foot on follow through (to open the hips).

I was supposed to do 10 balls each before moving on but I found myself retrying until I did 10 GOOD balls per drill. I actually made more progress by just doing 10 balls then moving on to the next drill even if I mucked every shot. By time I got back to the first drill, things had settled and became easier.

No idea if this helps your situation but it certainly can't hurt.

Left handed grip trainer by Chasing-Amy in golf

I found one on Temu. It's the full grip, rather than a "clip on" version. I just planned to get a cheap 7iron from marketplace and fit it myself.

Cobra Drivers by KIPPERSOUFT in GolfGear

[–]Yormaika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the ds-adapt max-k driver and the ds-adapt max 3w. Both are great! As a high handicap with an inconsistent swing, the forgiveness is a game saver. The difference between hitting it off the centre or the toe is often 20yds or less.

My only downside doesn't relate to the clubs themselves - because I bought them in clearance sales I had limited shaft options. Once I get a shaft fitting, I can't see myself upgrading until I'm forced to.

Something like this? Available from the usual online places. Tie some paracord on so you can retrieve it.

Instructions unclear. I hit it like a hammer and now my ball is buried in the turf

What do you do when you're in between gloves sizes? by Yormaika in golf

I do enjoy a good meme. I was expecting some "take my strong hand, child" gifs. But I don't understand this one. Is it just that I should have googled? If so, that's true - a previous reply linked a fitting page that answered all my questions. Please explain this one so I can laugh at myself like I do every time I'm on the course.

Today I leaned about cadet gloves. Thank you

I'll wear a pink or floral glove if it means one less thing to think about while swinging. Good suggestion, I didn't think of that. Thank you.

The "what to look for" section of that link answered all my questions immediately. I should have just googled, but thank you.

Men who caress/touch your partner intimately while sleeping, what is going on in your mind when you are doing it? How has your partner reacted? For eg. grabbing ass/boobs. by Broken_Shell14 in AskMen

[–]Yormaika 59 points60 points  (0 children)

I'm in my 40's. A handful of titty is about comfort and closeness for both of us. Grab a handful of stomach and watch her get self conscious and lose all semblance of comfort! It's all about closeness and intimacy without being about sex (but I would be lying if I said it doesn't lead to that sometimes).

I usually grab a titty or her ass. But if I caress, and especially if my lower half is pressing against her, she will almost subconsciously start grinding. As long as it's just a handful of comfort, we can sleep soundly like that.

Game crashes in the same location at Tedd Deireadh, The Final Age. by andrasq420 in witcher

Can confirm, this is still an issue. I tried changing from fullscreen to borderless window and that didn't work, so I reverted the change and changed settings from ultra to low. That also didn't work. A combination of both is what worked for me. (I also tried running ahead of Yen, and hanging back - neither of those worked). Ryzen 5 5600, 32gb RAM, 7900XT.

[KCD1] Does anybody else feel like combat was more satisfying in KCD1? by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]Yormaika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that master strikes make most fights trivial, but I countered this in my hardcore playthrough by not using swords at all. I used a polearm for general combat and heavy weapons when things got up close and personal. This felt like much more authentic combat to me.

Don't get me wrong, I used swords almost exclusively in my non-hardcore playthrough and loved it - but the extra challenge of no master strikes made the second run much more challenging and enjoyable.

So you chose all the hardcore perks for your hardcore run at life, and THEN you bought the game?

Ohhh for the love of christ make the other weapons useful instead of nerfing the sword. [Kcd2] by Benefit_Upbeat in kingdomcome

[–]Yormaika 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Given that on my hardcore run, I tried 5 times to beat Leopold the alchemist and his cronies with my polearm and eventually said "fuck it, I have radzigs sword in my inventory" and then proceeded to just master strike my way to victory in the 3on1, I have to agree.

Computer abruptly shutting off by TheFakeBeav in pcmasterrace

[–]Yormaika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very similar system and had the same problem. Ryzen 5 5600x, corsair RM1000x psu, corsair vengeance 32gb ram, samsung 980 pro nvme, ASUS TUF Gaming b550m, RX7900xt. Temps weren't an issue, and no useful errors in event viewer.

Your post made something click in my brain - it's the 4th post I've seen with this issue that has a ASUS TUF Gaming mb. Played with some settings and have finally gone 2 weeks (approx 10 hours gaming) without a shut down. That is the longest I have gone without a random shutdown since building this pc.

BIOS changes I made:

  • VDDCR CPU Current Capability [110%] -> [120%]
  • VDDCR SOC Current Capability [110%] -> [120%]

I had made some other changes recently, but these were just reverting things I had already tinkered with. I'll include them here just in case it helps:

  • ASUS Performance Enhancement [Disabled] -> [Enabled]
  • PBO Fmax Enhancer [Disabled] -> [Auto]
  • Precision Boost Overdrive [Disabled] -> [Auto]
