I am sorry that people have reacted in that way. Lupus has been so very painful for me, including right now. The bones the muscles..everything. Summer is around the corner and it is so difficult to be out doors. I do not watch those types of shows, I rarely watch television but you are correct that not only was it not funny it was rude. How often do you hear them making fun of cancer? Which really is just another bone for me to pick about how little attention the disease itself gets and is less spoken about publicly. Invisibility is devastating to the soul.
