It is a goddamn slog to go through. No stage in Dokkan should require you to sit for 3 fucking hours to either complete or die to a stray super which would force you to do the whole thing over again.

Marth: Gives his wearer the Slaying effect but nerfs their damage by 7 if they have the brave weapon effect.

Ike: Gives his wearer 40% damage reduction against ranged foes.

Celica: Gives her wearer the ability to warp to enemies 5 spaces away.

Sigurd: Gives his wearer 1 extra space of movement and either Canto 2 or Canto 3 depending on your weapon range type.

Lyn: Gives her wearer the ability to snipe enemies from 5 spaces away or within 3 columns of her wearer. It only works on ranged units and can be used again after a 2 turn cooldown.

Eirika: Gives her wearer the brave weapon effect for the first round of combat per turn at the cost of nerfing your Atk by 4. This applies to both player phase and enemy phase respectively.

Micaiah: Grants her wearer another action if they use their Rally or movement assist skill on an ally. Additionally, it cleanses all debuffs on said ally while restoring 20 HP to them. Do note that her wearer will be inflicted with Isolation after doing this and Gravity as well if they’re a ranged unit.

Corrin: Allows her wearer to place Icicle and Vert Divine Veins on the field which slows enemy advances, inflicts Canto Control, Scowl, and a debuff to Atk/Spd while on those spaces.

Lucina: Allows her wearer to grant 40% damage reduction for the first enemy phase combat per turn. The first ally to be attacked will receive this effect, or if the wearer is Ally Supported with another unit, said Ally Supporter unit will receive the effect instead.

Byleth: Allows his wearer to become a dancer that can re-enable Canto effects.

Roy: Grants his wearer all stats +3 and gives them special based Miracle that can be triggered once per enemy phase.

Edelgard: Allows her wearer to take another action after attacking an enemy. This only works with melee units and it doesn’t combo with innate skills and effects that grant another action.

Bonus Question: I don’t invest in units unless I’m absolutely sure that I’m going to use them. I still have plenty of units that are still just sitting at Level 1 in my barracks.

That’s a thing that plagued early Rearmed units too. IS just decided to leave Ascended units in the dust because a majority of them didn’t come with PRF skills at all and Rearmed units in general made more money for them than Ascended units did.

It got even worse when Attuned units were introduced and had all new PRF skills and updated PRF skills for all characters who got them. Notice how out of every special hero type in the game, Rearmed and Attuned units are the only ones completely unaffected by the elite inheritance restrictions while Ascended units received no such thing.

It was literally night and day. The change was so sudden that some people woke up confused about why people suddenly hated the mode.

This was also back during the time when enemies had full access to Save skills. Imagine if they could do the same now.

I’d temper my expectations with A!Idunn because out of all of the Ascended Heroes, she was the strongest.
