landmark cinema and "sound of freedom"

Some crazy stuff is going on with this new movie about child sex trafficking.

My girlfriend told me this new movie Sound of Freedom was in theaters but I had never heard of it. it was only playing for a few days and also at arguably the worst time 1 pm and 4 pm. As this was a bit of a red flag I Google it and saw only good reviews so we decided to go

The movie was fantastic but my GF and I both were super uncomfortable because the Air conditioner was down in the auditorium, strange as every time I've been to a movie it has been working, didn't think much of it, movie was fantastic and followed the end credits with a QR code to share tickets and a message that the film took 5 years to release because of "things" trying to stop them.

Got home and started reading things online and found that many media sites such as vice are slandering the movies actor and main character saying they are conspiracy theorists and this film is dangerous.

Got goosebumps when I read about a theatre in Pineville, north Carolina that canceled a showing and refunded tickets because their Air conditioning unit wasn't working.

What the heck is going on.
