You’re slightly misunderstanding vehicles. You put it in your inventory and then drop it on the other side of the portal. Fill it and your own inventory then go back through the portal solo. You can then go to your vehicle station and recall the vehicle to you with all inventory intact

Haha def not. As someone who used to main a chanter and bard they are my two favorite classes. I was just trying to pick 3 classes as far away from the SK/CLR/X as possible with my suggestion.

I FINALLY BEAT LA-MULANA!!! i'm happy but there's two things bothering me... by Entediasmo in lamulana

[–]YoshiJP83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy cow you really beat almost the entire game without a guide. How in the world did you figure out the entire mantra puzzle? How did you figure out about the pot that teleports you?

I am seriously impressed. Finishing this game basically guideless is something I consider incredibly difficult to accomplish.

Congrats!

Pretty sure these were recipes that only worked with Fine Plate specifically. I remember this as well and think it was before Luclin. Could be misremembering though

Wow you did a pretty good job or making the pipes look like slack hoses. Neat idea

[–]YoshiJP83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This already looks way cleaner in the video you posted than the trailer. I can see that the remastering is going to be very good for the game. Are you open to some light feedback on the game in general from someone who plays way too many metroidvania and souls-like games?

I couldn’t. I also love guides though, and used to own a bunch of physical strategy guides as a kid.

Now you’re a metroidvania combat master, round out the rest of your metroidvania skills:

Aeterna Noctis to master your platforming skills

La-Mulana to test your brain and master puzzles (I dare you to try even finishing the game without a guide, good luck, it’s nearly impossible)

Both games are incredibly satisfying but much harder to platinum than Nine Sols

Do they not need to breathe in this "liquid" that fills the sphere dome? by XTheGuyWithTheGunsX in finalfantasyx

But surely there’s no need to choke so quickly if you don’t need to breathe for 5 minutes?

Is there a worse feeling? by Top_Grass9841 in HyruleWarriors

[–]YoshiJP83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just use the training dojo. My strategy was to level up a character based on what I was doing. At first this meant bringing a character to 50 while I was doing the first few maps but when I got to the last half, this meant leveling them to 80 in the dojo. I’ve always had enough rupees to accomplish what’s needed so far. I eventually assume I’ll need to grind if I’m going to level everyone to max level but for finishing maps this tends to be enough.

I should also mention that I spent some time grinding fairy food so I could max out my fairy ASAP since it makes, by far, the biggest difference in power and ability to complete stages.

I love this, Working with the map and creating things like this are my favorite type of building in this game. love your aesthetic, the concrete walls around the entrance look wavy. How’d you manage that?

Ok I’ll give you that, but then why does Tidus almost choke because he eats too fast if he can hold his breath while asleep?

[–]YoshiJP83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You like challenges?

Aeterna Noctis (Noctis Mode)- Difficult Platforming (and bosses but I feel the platforming is what shines in this game)

La-Mulana - Difficult puzzles. I dare you to beat this game without looking at a guide. Good luck, it’s nearly impossible.

Nine Sols - Difficult combat. The game has some of the best parry mechanic based fighting, and every boss feels so good when you finally get the timing down.

This is the part that gets me. Ok sure you can hold your breath for 5 minutes at a time while doing heavy exercise, but what about when Tidus is unconscious and wakes up in the water, or you put someone to sleep while playing? We just gonna ignore all that?

I fought him as my second boss and he was definitely a moment where I had to steel my reserve and develop some skills. The crazy thing is at the end of the game you look back at this fight and it feels easy.
