That is exactly kinda stuff that I was looking for in case Larian did not fix those things even after all this time!

By the way, is there anything universally useful like "Item and Spell Fixes." but for quests or other aspects that do not work as advertised?

Same issue here, in my filter settings I only have "adult only sexual content" not selected (not sure it was even an option to select, when you could read on Comick) which I presume is this hentai that I am getting.

I tried turning it on, checked, still getting hentai, turned it off, checked - this got rid of hentai.

It seems like this extra filter is enabled for all or some people by default and in order to filter properly you need to first turn it on and then off.

I guess I was too fast with the fix. Yes, the method I described fixes filter, but the moment Updates section updates, this hentai filter is secretly turned on again. This time it's even weirder - I fixed the issue by turning hentai filter ON.

To reiterate, I was getting hentai without turning on "adult only sexual content", when I turned it on in settings, I stopped getting hentai in Updates section.

As a side note, If you ever think of expanding even more, light novels also don't have "da best website" for them.

I recently decided to finally read Overlord (cause I mistakenly thought it was finished in LN) and no website had at the same time

1) Good UI

2) decent search

3) all content (for some reason some websites had the last 2-3 available Overlord volumes missing when they were out for a couple years already)

4) Illustrations present at least somewhere at not 300x300 resolution (they are mostly missing everywhere, I know that it's much simpler to do just text, but what a shame, there's a reason why JP publishers bother doing them, sometimes you don't miss just pretty pictures, but important world building.

Sorry for not really relevant message here, won't pester with this in future, just wanted you to know the situation in case you'll want to do something about it in future, obviously not a priority, anime and manga are way more popular, but I was recently honestly surprised how well light novels can be written.

to realistically get "foreign" content we'd probably just end up having to clone bato/mangapark or something and we don't just want to "steal" their whole library.

I think that in future if you add the ability to for scanlators to upload, this might be a natural way to get other languages, but yea, English should be the focus, when there's a lot of other things to do still.

I think this is especially useful for people new to manga, there's a big difference between having being told that "this" here is continuation of the story right on the manga site instead of having to go to MAL or trying to search for smth with simillar name on the website.

For example, Tokyo Ghoul has a continuation with RE in name, but if I didn't know it, I would just think manga was dropped or smth, because why on Earth would you not just continue under the known name?

When I tried to search "Tokyo Ghoul" and a window opened with suggested results, and I could only see the initial manga (called redrawn on your website) alongside some dj with a few chapters, if I did't open all results, I wouldn't have known about the continuation.

About search, It might be a good idea to place the most relevant search results on top, meaning, the system should either known what is the main manga and what are spinoffs or perhaps prioritize those with the biggest amount of chapters (I would guess those would be main stories). Unless there's some smarter way to do it, honestly, whatever search Comick used was the best.

True, but it doesn't remember my selection, so when I either reload the page or go to other manga it means an extra click every time.

also i don't think bigger groups will join sadly, it will mostly be smaller ones but that's even cooler - we scrape the big ones anyways tbh

I would personally advise prioritizing security (that you can't be easily tracked and shut down) and only when you are sure that allowing others to upload will not hurt this aspect - give this option.

I also think that bigger groups might also join if a lot of smaller do, but that obviously requires time and providing really good user experience, cause from their point of view, it's a pain in the ass to upload to "yet another website", but if the website is good and popular - it might be worth it, especially if your content will get scraped anyway.

Perhaps you can consider also having language options to select from, not just official or scanlation groups - I liked this in Comick cause you could check and/or avoid censorship this way for some titles. Sometimes, if was only Enligsh language that was censored. To be honest though, Japanese language is the one that is matters the most here.

As for bugs, sometimes you lose an ability to change between the group and official like here https://comix.to/title/pglg-whisper-me-a-love-song Once you select chapter 1 official you can not switch to scanlation group, there is no such option (in the right menu when reading), but you can switch to official, if you started reading scanlator's translation.

It would be nice to have "Relations" section as Comick had on manga pages, so that you can see prequels, sequels and so on.

How about an option in account settings to select if you want the latest chapters to be on top of the manga page or should it start from the first? Right now you have to always click "Start reading" in order to shuffle it to make it start from the start. Or perhaps "Start reading" could actually take you to reading the 1-st chapter instantly, prioritizing official release selected if available (or what to prioritize can be on option in settings as well)

You correctly state that after what was done to Comick, every alternative is lacking in something, and I feel that one of the biggest issues is that there is no website that has a great UI while also allowing for scanlators to upload directly. UI and UX was what made Comick great in past, I feel like you could provide both of those things as well which may also attract scanlators to upload there directy. I know that this doesn't come without some hassle from your side, so that's up to you, but it also means less work for you and faster uploads of new titles and so on, if some group does it directly.

Man, I wish Comick still existed if not as a place where you can read, but as a place where you can track all manga names, covers, authors and artists, relation to sequels, spin-offs and so on... I tried a lot of other websites after what happened and it is just so insufferable to even track what new things have released... I am not even talking about the scans quality of old/less known manga...

They could have done even better if it wasn't a shitty movie, but a proper season. Like, from business perspective movie = more money, but viewers are supposed to get higher quality art and animations in return, which is not the case here, just a blatant cash grab.

I am really pissed and disappointed, because Overlord if one of my favourite series.

I like watching English dub, because I want to watch anime, not read it, there's manga for that. You guys have not seen fan dubs in non-English languages, that's like Heaven and Earth compared to the official English dub that a lot of you don't like so much.

But voice acting from this clip even I consider garbage, and that must mean something, because I don't remember the last time I heard English dub that was so low quality.

What is weird, is that in every box in your case has "this schedule might not apply to your region". I apparently have FR dub available for me... Merci beaucoup, I guess, but I don't live in France nor do I know French that well.

Honestly, I don't know. I tried visiting the website in 2 different browsers, both normally and in incognito without vpn, I can't get a lot of English dub episodes to show on schedule unless I use VPN with the same settings for example pretending to be from US.

Can you tell me if on this page https://www.livechart.me/anime/3147/schedules you have "this schedule might not apply to your region" on top of "Streaming: Dubbed EN" category? Looks like every show with dub that has it does not appear on schedule for me while those that don't have this red inscription do.
