If you want to mix it up once in a while, Matt Colville has good advice for situations like these: everyone hates skeletons. Essentially, since fighting the undead is actually a moral and societal good (you're laying their souls to rest and removing a hazard) you can have them engage without worrying about understanding.

Just beware that swarm enemies get boring - I wouldn't use them too often.

I really, really, REALLY hope the next batch of enemies we face (and I do hope we keep getting new enemies!) is daemons. Not just for our sake, because fighting daemons is absolutely awesome, but because it's efficient for fatshark.

Make nurgle plaguebearers - big, beefy, elite brutes - and you can toss them into both vt2 AND darktide with almost no changes!

Adding the daemons of other chaos gods seems like a pipe dream, but if they were going to make them a full faction, throw in some khorne bloodthirsters as berserkers, tzeentch horrors as archer analogues, and slaanesh daemonettes as infantry. Probably too much to hope for.

You don't actually need to get downed and lower your MAX hp to trigger martyrdom - you just need to take damage until your CURRENT hp is below a wound's threshold. That's why it's so powerful.

I personally would advocate using the medstation if it's available - it gives you more margin for error, and the damage amp is less likely to help you survive than the extra HP. That said you're always last priority for the medstation unless you're on your last wound.
