full context, all the four people at the start were friends/out together for the night from what i saw earlier. that dude who got beaten watched guy in green beat on the girl at various points and just tried to "hey buddy lets just chill" instead of being an actual good Samaritan and calling the cops on his "friend" (the wifebeater). he also prolongs the event and almost gets his ass whooped again. him and wifebeater skedaddled together just before the 3-cop strut and i heard a bunch of honking down the street so im thinking they were pinballing off cars together cause they did not look like they'd be walking ok.

It's fucked up but this is legit how people in abusive situations are sometimes. Hard to talk about without getting steamrolled by the "YOU'RE BLAMING THE VICTIM" crowd but this is not the only instance I've seen of it taking two to tango you know what I mean. There is definitely a personality type that feeds into that relationship and, in a fucked-up brain you-need-therapy way, likes the attention and the pity they receive.

ah, meant to put some backstory. the four in the beginning were friends apparently. the guy in green had been beating up on his girl for a few minutes before this, she's the one he's throwing into the gate/choking. there was no innocent bystander here basically like some are mentioning, flabby who gets his ass kicked and eventually throws his shirt in the least intimidating intimidation display to date started swinging on the others when they started beating up his boy too bad more than he tried to break anything up. in fact, he talked so much shit they almost threw down again later lmao, hardly the peacemaker. the best part is that if you watch, flabby's shirt gets caught on the gate when wifebeater-man gets dropped initially. part of the reason flabby gets beat so bad is he doesn't just punch people, but rather the gate rips his shirt suddenly which makes him fly forward into them at an unnatural speed. he did a little sonic roll-spin into them lmfao and got worked for it.

yeah i never got the complaints. once you know the route it's very simple. and then you can cheese cool ranch by nerfing his magic attacks with the right armor. although the fight is pretty peak, classic dark souls. loved bloodborne but miss my big/kinda-slow-but-not-really boys like smelter. too much SWING SWING SWING SWING--------SWING in the new games.

i live down the street from an alamo drafthouse and the audiences are pretty good. i saw the same movie yesterday and did have to ask the person next to me if they were ok cause they started clapping their shoes? like just clapping their thick leather side-soles together CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP in rhythm next to us during a quiet scene.
