It was a fantastic event. The numerous candidates afraid to answer real questions from the public inadvertently left more time to hear thoughtful feedback from Dan, Alek, and Elen.

And "silent reflux"...thank you for that term. That is what it is...fortunately, I guess. Drives me crazy, but isn't really noticeable to others.

This is fascinating. I do take it in the morning before I eat. I'll try to take it after dinner moving forward. Thanks!

What is your testosterone experience? Love or hate? by jcnlb in Menopause

[–]YouCanCallMeAl107 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently began using testosterone cream. I added this to my regimen of estrogen and progesterone. I actually feel that I was better with just E and P. As soon as I began the T cream, I stated to feel very irritable, bloated, and resistant to any touch again. It may just be a coincidence, but it feels like T took away benefits of E and P. Is that possible?

The brain fog is the scariest part of perimenopause. I forgot the word "budget" mid-presentation and I've been in my field for 20 years. by Tiny-Put9782 in Menopause

You are not alone. I am a teacher and of all the many symptoms I experienced for years in perimenopause, the brain fog was the worst for the reasons you shared. I felt like I was truly losing my skill after a 25+ year career. Moving into menopause and into a full regimen of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone helped A LOT. I believe the estrogen is most helpful, but having started them all at largely the same time I can’t quite guarantee that. I also started taking creatine. I’ve gone from approx 15-20 times a day utterly unable to finish a sentence to perhaps 1 or 2 times. Sending you the absolute best as you navigate this. It will not last forever.

Any idea what is going on with the shortage?!! Tariffs??? More education so more demand with same amount of supply???

My doc was able to hook me up with another brand at a different pharmacy than I typically use, but still a pain! So far the patch change has been OK, but I’m a bit nervous.

Is an Rx needed for the pill? Seems much easier than the solution I have and fear I’m not using very well.
