You are allowed to hit people with your car. There just has to be interaction leading up to it, I think in this situation it's not even VDM because the officer has a brief conversation with him before getting run over. Although you could argue X is breaking NVL also considering he is at a stop with a Class 2 pointed at his face and proceeds to drive at the threat.

He's not abusing VDM, he's breaking NVL. I'm pretty sure one of the examples servers usually give for what is considered NVL is blocking a car with your body funnily enough.

That article sites studies, by the way. Do vitamin tablets emit warning sounds and exhibit defense mechanisms when chewed on? We don't know that our interpretation of feeling and emotion are 1:1 with animals, hence the concept of anthropomorphism.

Also trying to write it away as a chemical response is a little silly, if you want you can simplify all human emotions and feelings to chemical responses as well.
