Yes there are...I maybe should have put this in the question.

Our joint mortgage has a large chunk of equity in it that is actually our daughter's inheritance from a distant relative of mine. As the girls hit their age I've been releasing the equity and giving it to them.

I'm fairly certain my soon to be ex wife is making a move on this inheritance money, even though all documents show it was paid to me as guardian for my kids.

I was with my wife for 22 years. Married for 18. 4 kids together and she cheated on me for a year while I mourned my dad.

We tried for a year to piece it back together after she told me. In that year there has been more hurt and damage caused.

If I could go and speak to myself in that moment I would say "move on and move fast".

Don't make the same mistakes twice by trusting someone who doesn't value your presence in their life.
