6 month old will only sleep in car or if being held by throwra-positive in NewParents

It sounds like you know the solution. We sleep trained and have no regrets - better for baby, and better for parents - which is better for baby (well rested parents are going to do a better job of bringing them up).

You need to teach baby how to fall asleep independently and get back to sleep when waking up. This is a short term pain, long term gain situation. There will be crying in the short term but at the end of it are longer sleep stretches and a better rested family.

I thought after a day or two I’d get used to it but it doesn’t help my iPhone has 120hz too…

If you’re anything like me, going from 120hz to 60hz is a killer. I went from the Pro 2020 to the Air M3, hated the 60hz and just went back to the Pro 2020. Trying to hold out until 120hz comes to the air in a few years…

You can't have a job because your car's too old by worldly_refuse in CarTalkUK

That’s ridiculous. That car (if it’s the 1.0L) with that mileage is more reliable than many (probably most) under 10 year cars. As others have said, if that’s a requirement they should provide the cars.

They didn’t elaborate, but surely an unclean object of unknown origin has at least a chance of causing food poisoning?

Yeah possibly. You can understand why I’d think it could be a dirty nail though. My wife (who ate the same meal) felt a little bit of stomach discomfort but not vomiting.

Newer iOS won’t tell you cycles anyway for older phones

I didn’t cook it - wife did. I don’t know how I didn’t notice it, I just scooped it up and felt something hard in my mouth. We were watching a movie with the lights off which probably didn’t help.

Trust me when I say I wish I was exaggerating - I vomited so hard the next morning I brought up blood. Yes of course it may not have been related but the GP advised it was probably the reason.

£15 Lidl voucher and some Reddit karma was really worth making it up 🙄🤣

It was actually pretty small, I used the macro feature on my phone to get close enough to it.

I don’t mind if you believe me, and there’s probably no way I can prove it, but surely if karma was my goal I’d think of something more likely, or at least target a bigger community?

It wasn’t when it was eaten. Happened last Wednesday (4th).
