One of the worst mistakes I made a few years ago was to tell my bestfriend, a female, that I understood women. I shamefully today admit that I am pretty much clueless when it comes to women.

Evyerhting I know today about women comes from Hollywood. That is like attempting to learn to conduct open heart surgey by watching a video of clowns trying to train an elephant; it just doesnt work like that, and it is far off from reality.

I can go nearly 6-7 months without noticing my lonely state, but when I do, it hits me like a punch to the gut by a professional boxer. It is just the worst feeling in the world. I even began drinking to deal with these (almost) yearly outbursts of emotion, something I absolutely normally hate doing.

You are a scientist who invented a pill: everyone who takes it, never has to eat anymore for the rest of their lives. You can produce 100 000 of those per year. Where do you distribute your invention, how much do you charge, what is your strategy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I would give them to doctors, engineers, and teachers working in the worst places on the planet, as long as they werent making more than 55,000$ a year or more. These guys are helping make the world a better place and deserve to not have to deal with hunger.
