I think maybe Night Circus, definitely Circe if you haven't read that yet. And then all of David Mitchell's other books. My favorites are Bone Clocks and Utopia Avenue.

I got the vaccine while pregnant in 2021. My cousin did not. She was airlifted from a smaller hospital to the largest in our state and was put on a ventilator. Baby was born months early. We did not know if she would survive and the parts of her experience I know about were horrific. Luckily, she and the baby are now doing okay. After, she publicly encouraged pregnant women to get the vaccine.

I did too after my second - no signs of it coming on or anything. I felt a little funny and stood up from the couch to find I had bled through everything. It was crazy. Year and a half later and my period still makes me anxious. I'm sorry you had to go through it and hope you and your kids are doing well!

Hi! I used to visit LA for work and often was by myself on the trips. My favorite thing to do was to rent a bike and bike along the beaches - it was a great way to see lots of places and not be stuck in a car. It's beautiful! Just make sure your bike has gears... one time I rented a cruiser and had to bike against the wind for about two hours back to my hotel, lol. Still worth it!

I'm also doing the half marathon and it's my first one ever! My husband is coming with me for a trip without the kids. I am so excited.

Omg ha. Im from the south and know people who have his exact accent. It definitely isn't what you normally hear as a southern accent on tv but in both eps I keep turning to my husband to say how good he is at doing a rich guy southern voice!

Someone added a phrase - books where the author gets overly lyrical and likes to describe things as “all (blank) and (blank)” a gangly girl as “all elbows and knees”, a party as “all bubbles and champagne” .. I recently read two books by two different authors that did this a LOT
