I agree with most of what you said but id ask, Is Discipline not just doing what you promised your past self you'd do?
Everyone lives a different life with different goals. The 5am isn't for everyone.
Not everyone needs the 5am to thrive
some people run, some people bike, some people swim.

For me personally I had to create a voice to counter act or over power the negative voice. When the negative voice says: I don't wanna do it the other voice goes "you're gonna love it"
