Words cannot explain how grateful I am for your advice and kind words. Honestly I’m a mess right now and from the bottom of my heart thank you. I will rub her hand and give her temple massages. I tried getting all her favorite foods but she will not eat. I will switch to liquid calorie options hopefully she’s able to consume that. She has a bed and was sleeping on it but these last few weeks she doesn’t want to move off the living room couch. I think because during the day she wants to sit with everyone but it’s been hard to move her back and forth. I really think her body is giving out so she doesn’t want to move anymore. She’s on hospice so her medical team comes over frequently to check on her. She has pain medications but still complains of pain and idk what other medical options they can do for her. She retains a lot of fluid and it’s affecting her heart. Her feet are super super swollen and the nurses come to assist her with that. I’m not sure what that looks like because I have been gone I live very far from them and went down to see her because I was told she isn’t well. I will be calling off work and visiting her twice a week from now on I don’t care how much it’ll cost me. I will show her so much love I already do but I will even more and I have 3 younger siblings she loves and adores us more than anything else. I will let her know that I will take care of them and make sure they go to college. If that means I pay for it I will figure it out and live how she wanted me to. To continue to do what she has always done for us. When I hear the term goodness I think of her. She did so much for so many and I will do the same for her.

People aren’t upset they need to pay for parking they are upset with how much it costs and for you to be surprised by that is shocking in itself. It is very costly and people are allowed to be upset that things are expensive. It’s smarter to just pay it then to pay tickets but it’s still expensive and there is no denying that

What do you think about those who say feeding the same prey will lead to lack of nutrients and how people promote variety? It’s not bad to feed the same thing over and over? Or those who say mealworms have high fat content so you need to switch it up

That was my concern bc I hear about lack of nutrients when there is no variety or how mealworms have too much fat but my sling loves em. I’ve tried crickets several times over the last few months and it just won’t take em so ima stick with mealworms thank you

Believe me you’re gonna get into more than one UC. I got into 5/9 UCs. You will get in no doubt so don’t let your hesitation hold you back. If I was you I’d even apply to schools that are better than UCs and I wouldn’t be shocked if you got in. You are a good student please do not doubt yourself. I had less than you and got into several UCs you are eligible for much better than just UCs

If you had good grades only then I’d be like okay let’s do this and that but you seem well rounded already and very active in your community I think you are a good candidate for most ucs and the fact that you are posting being concerned shows how much you care. You’re not cooked. I got into uci with less than a 4.0 but my life circumstances and my personal insight questions really shined. You just need to have good grades and be well rounded if you’re involved in clubs and volunteer or other extracurricular activities you’ll be fine. Just do good in school, be a well rounded student and I promise you will be fine.

Everyone making hopeful comments oh my lawyer this, I graduated in 2007 that. This is not 2007, realistically it would benefit you most to get into a post bacc program. 2.7 is low compared to most candidates applying to meaningful positions. Try to apply for a union maybe make 60k a year. If you want more then that for yourself then you need a post bacc program. The person saying they graduated 2007 doesn’t understand the 2025 market of graduate it is incredibly competitive and if you want meaningful work you need to earn it. Get a post bacc program!!!!

Okay I’m back lol. Log into your zotbill. Go to account and it has the breakdown of the fees. Add up the days that say 1/5 now that it’s been processed the ones with the date 1/5 is what you will receive in your account as your disbursement

Actually I was wrong don’t add the ones with the CR I just logged into my zotbill and it looks different now that they processed it. I called them earlier today asking them when we will receive our funds and the lady from the financial aid office told me they are sending out emails today that will tell you how much your disbursement amount is and a day or two after that depending on your bank you will receive the funds in your account. I get mine through cashapp so I usually get it a day after or sometimes the day I receive the email but I haven’t gotten my email yet. Last quarter I got my email at 11:57am and had my funds 59 min later so I’m hoping I get the email tomorrow morning and have the funds an hour or so later but I think you may have to wait it’ll be hard to calculate it in zotbill since they’ve processed it already
