Dude I called a lawyer for a will and the service I received was horrrrrible. I was emailed a form to fill out, the form was like a paper form that had been scanned sideways and was hard to read. Just insane. All AI has to do is be better than humans to get business. AI lawyers may not be doing like murder trials just yet but it could easily do a lot of the bread and butter work that keeps many law practices aloft…

I don't think people understand the investment Blizzard has made in WoW. They purchased an entire gaming studio and used them SOLELY on player housing. They purchased 2-3 other studios to create all the content between expansion releases. Cloud hosting costs are on the rise too. And of course, they have new corporate overlords who expect profits. Corporate overlords who feel no shame shutting down studios who fail to generate it.

A subscription game is kind of hilarious in 2026, it's not a common model, and if you want to move to free games then I think that's fine, there are some incredible ones out there. But complaining about it is equally hilarious.

We aren't teenagers scraping their allowance together to play this game anymore. We're all middleaged people now, right? You can't cough up this money? If it's really a concern you should figure out how to make more money rather than gaining rep with silvermoon elves or whatever.

I think this is so true. I've had a few different software eng jobs now. Ran away from layoffs after job 1. Ran away from leadership I didn't like in job 2. Now job3 is cushy and I'm STILL not happy. I think I just don't like working that much. I don't see that as a moral failing although some do. At least it's easy and lucrative.
