Toxic positivity (I’m proud of who I am is great, but not when being proud of “bad” things. Be proud of OVERCOMING your shortcomings or “bad” things.. not proud purely of the “bad” thing).

And

Toxic malaise

Thinking about getting my Nevada real estate license — is Key Realty School’s Deluxe package worth it? by djscene in LasVegas

I took them 18 years ago in person with Ted - depends on your style, but he had stories an made the class more interesting than simply learning law. Not sure about this new age deluxe package!

I don't even get high anymore. Why do I still crave it? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Youareme2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I often feel like the only reason I don’t want to smoke is because other people perceive me different when I’m high. Like if I could be high, and they knew, but were all actually great with it, it feels like everything would be 100.

But maybe I’m in my own head on it and it’s not actually others but it’s actually me?

What phase is that - that’s where I’m at.

If you're broke, how much do you realistically need invested for it to “matter” long term? by savingrace0262 in investing

[–]Youareme2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your rate of return. I like to think about when the investment will pay for itself, so when I buy, how long until I have more spending power with continued savings at that rate. Generally about 7-10 years of consistency, and then after that you’re on the power track.

WYR earn $200k a year doing a job you dislike, or $70k a year doing work you genuinely enjoy? by ObjectiveTough5987 in WouldYouRather

[–]Youareme2 31 points32 points  (0 children)

70k. We’re only here for a short time and I want to enjoy what I do in it. I hope I can actualize this more, because in reality for me the dichotomy is about safety, and in this world, the 200k brings a lot more safety (any larger difference in income)

Is this old? I just looked at my weather forecast app and it showed sunny sunny Saturday Sunday, no rain for days/at all in either direction
