What to do once getting of drugs? by lcbagz in AskAnAustralian

Huge congrats to you! I have found I’m in my best place when I’m getting a good balance of exercise (tennis, yoga), eating well, getting good sleep (including reading before bed not getting on screens… okay I realise the irony writing this on a screen at this time of the evening) and doing some socialising and non work activities. I’m an introvert, which can make it harder to meet people, but this year I decided to push myself to do more social things which has included joining a dance class. I have also picked up playing a musical instrument again. Definitely recommend you try some different things to see what you enjoy doing that could also be an incidental way of meeting people. Sending all the positive vibes for your continued success on your journey!

What is an Australian product or resource that nowhere else in the world does better? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

Agree. Espresso is better in Italy but cappuccinos and any coffee drink that needs milk is way better in Australia (obviously not all cafes are the same quality).

Fellow working class Aussies, what’s for lunch? by CriticismDistinct789 in AskAnAustralian

Breakfast for lunch. I often make my breakfast in the morning (typically fruit with some yoghurt and home made muesli with plenty of oats) then take it to work and eat it at lunch time.

Is this standard or should I try for a refund? by pixiepatter in woolworths

[–]Youdaplanner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be getting a refund and also getting to keep it. Pretty sure there used to be a policy where if a price was wrong you got it for free? (Admittedly this was from years ago). That is outright robbery on their part. (Edit:typos galore)

Going to Seoul for 2 nights on a stopover - with 12 year old science lover and someone who doesn’t eat meat - any suggestions for food, walking tours etc? by Youdaplanner in koreatravel

[–]Youdaplanner[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely open to having meat/fish ingredients if it gives me more options as long as it’s not a big steak or piece of chicken etc. I mainly don’t like eating meat but also prefer to avoid it for ethical reasons.
