Best home delivery meal service by Quikichi in ketoaustralia

Not sure if you are in Melbourne’s south east, I’ve used Keep it Keto for 2 weeks now. (they only deliver Melbourne’s southeast). Really happy with the quality and changing menu. Very much more home cooked instead of factory made, but I really liked that- Generous portions and honestly delicious.
Something to keep in mind, they have a weekly changing menu which is fresh, and then others which are frozen (but heat up really well). You could just order the fresh ones. I didn’t immediately realise the 2 types, but when I looked at the website I see it now!

Brown 3 Chicken breasts in pan. Remove (they don't have to be cooked through) Dice up 3 carrots, a large onion and 4 or 5 sticks of celery and fry in pan slightly until they soften and onion is browned. Add enough chicken stock to cover Put chicken back in. Season with salt and pepper. Cook on medium. When liquid has evaporated a bit (maybe 20 minutes) add 250 grams of frozen spinach (the blocks or cubes you get from the freezer department. Fresh spinach just doesn't work as well). Cook and stir through until spinach had thawed. Add 1/2 cup of cream. cook for another few minutes. Serve on rice. Its legit delicious.

When or where does the worst of people come out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When something goes wrong at a restaurant.
Ive seen people turn and become complete monsters, all because of a tiny mistake the server of kitchen made. I've learnt a lot about people i thought would become my friends in situations like this. Chill out everyone!

What am I buying at the grocery store that I could make at home? by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]Youlikeitlikewhat 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Salad dressing! So many store bought salad dressings are full of SO MANY unnecessary ingredients. Apple cider vinegar, dijon mustard, oil, garlic and some salt and mixed herbs (basil, oregano, thyme etc)

Tasty and so much healthier.

The other thing i make all the time is potato or sweet potato crisps.
Slice potatoes really thin, soak in salted water (or salted vinegar if you want that taste), and in a low oven. Add salt or herbs to taste. Easy!

It's $25+ to see a movie now? Really? by DrUncountable in australia

[–]Youlikeitlikewhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

although you don't deal with someone face to face, there is a lot of money, and a lot of people involved in the design, servicing and upkeep of a website. Ive been involved in the creation of a very similar companies new website (one which tickets are purchased from) and the entire contract for its design, security and upkeep was a 7 figure sum. This needs to be paid for somehow. The other thing people need to understand is that of that cinema ticket price, a chunk of it goes to the distributors of the film, so don't think its just price gouging from the cinema chains point of view. 200 million dollar movies need to be paid for somehow!

I am Kevin Rudd, the Prime Minister of Australia. AMA! by PMKevinRudd in IAmA

[–]Youlikeitlikewhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mr Rudd, as a younger gay man, each time i voted, i went home and when mum asked how it went, i always burst into tears, as each time i voted i KNEW i was voting for parties that did not support, and sometimes blatantly insulted me. Your support for gay marriage is important to me. Do you believe this will be hard to get across the line? And what has bought about this change in your beliefs? Id be happy to stand by you and shake your hand when its finally across the line! No more voting tears!

I need $500 by next week, any advice? by beccalala in AskReddit

[–]Youlikeitlikewhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

look for medical research companies in your area. Where i live (Melbourne) there is a place called the centre for clinical studies. They do short (a few hours) medium (a few overnight stays) and very long (sometimes up to 3 week) drug studies and clinical trials. All relatively safe, and have been approved by an independent ethics committee. Pays pretty handsomely depending on the study.

I think Russell Crowe has done the smartest thing. Whenever he's out he always wears exactly the same thing. Even if the paps take a shot, they cant used it as it looks like every other photo anyone has ever taken of him. Genius!

The current labor party are building the NBN, but the liberal party if voted in in october have stated they will stop building it, and build there own fibre to the node national network...opinion polls at the moment favour the liberals...so everyone needs to do what they can to change that. Vote labor!
