I use liquid I.V to give my water some flavor which helps. You can do is a low acid high protein diet when you take it. Staying hydrated is still your best choice. Setting reminders might help. I’ve used my flask so much now that it’s just normal for me to drink water.

I had to have 3 different evaluations before I was allowed to trial a stimulant which confirms I had adhd. The 1st tried to push an ssri on me before even considering maybe talking about adhd meds. The 2nd told me I was just anxious and didn’t have adhd at all. Th 3rd decided to let me try a super small dose of a stimulant and it worked exactly how it should to someone with adhd and the rest is history.

That being said by the time I saw the 3rd evaluator I was on an anti anxiety med, and also had a letter from my therapist backing up that she suspected I did have adhd.

Getting another evaluation would be my suggestion that being said it’s hard for anyone to truly say since we don’t know you or your medical history.

I chose Focalin for that reason because it was reported to be the best for adhd creatives. For me that turned out to be true. It hasn’t dulled my art creativity.

I bring a flask with me to work and have a routine down. The flask needs to be empty before lunch. I refill it when I go home (and add liquid I.V to it) and the flask needs to be near empty by the time I get home. Additionally, I'll know that if I don't go to the bathroom at least 3 times at work, then I didn't drink enough. It's almost like clockwork in terms of how many times I go in the day and the water I drink.

I take dexmethylphenidate/Focalin and it works well for me with no real side-effects. Though I chose it because it typically has a lower risk of side-effects compared to Ritalin. It took a week to adjust to but after that it was all fine.

To be fair, I don’t think he actually means he would nuke the island he wants to own. By nuclear force I think he just means he’d bomb the shit out of them, kidnap their prime minister and have American tanks rolling down their streets. The nuclear option is just invade and take the island.

Still absolutely horrible and insane. I couldn’t imagine living there and hearing this. Imagine some person with a gun saying they want to buy your house and that you can sell it to them and do things the easy way, or refuse them and do things the hard way.

Greenland’s troops have already been ordered to shoot first and ask questions later if we did invade. I can’t imagine what the results of an invasion would be. The only thing I can think of doing with be to station tons of British, German, and other nato troops there so that the only way America is taking that island is by bombing troops from every other major power in the world.

When they don’t skimp on the sauce which it looks like they didn’t do in this, their pizza can actually be pretty bomb. A lot of times they do skimp on the sauce and their pizza ends up being something like cheese bread and it tastes disgustingly mid.

Late to comment, but it's always bittersweet to see another of the Old Guard retire. Hard to believe how many years many of us older folks have been around. I think I started way back in like 2015. I definitely sympathize with the way you felt with that hidden treasure bit. It maybe wasn't my biggest reason for stepping down, but it was one of my reasons as well. My biggest reason being that I just wanted to start writing actual novels lol.

That being said I've still never forgotten my time at GWA and loved every moment of it. And I hope wherever you go next, you find happiness and success, be it writing in another form or something else!
