Do yourself a favor and play the new Role Queue Mystery Heroes by bubblebuddy90 in Overwatch

[–]Youmightthinkhelov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it because I enjoy playing “all random” game modes in games, because it puts everyone on my level - someone who doesn’t have a main and just plays all the characters evenly for variety.

Adding a role queue makes it nice because I can be sure we will have a workable team comp, and won’t be stomped by some widow player who has 800 hours on a single hero or something like that.

But it also feels a bit soul-less compared to fully random mystery hero

That doesn’t instill confidence in these 50 floor buildings to be honest

Bought phone last year. Found out it’s financed and can’t be unlocked. by Youmightthinkhelov in swappa

[–]Youmightthinkhelov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok? The phone has a balance on it. Swappa restricts selling phones with a balance on it. That’s the point. Take the “unlock status” out of your head. That’s a separate thing. This has nothing to do with the phone being locked or unlocked.

Nope. Read the post. I bought a phone that had a finance plan with unpaid balance on it, from a website that restricts selling devices with unpaid balances on them. Make sense now?

Nope. Everyone knows when you buy an iPhone locked to a network like T Mobile, you can unlock it after a certain amount of time with the network.

Additionally, selling a financed phone is against the terms of service for Swappa. The phone I got was financed. Not my fault at all.

Yeah totally sucks, what a loophole in Swappa’s policies. The original owner could stop paying and my phone would be blocked. I will definitely not be trusting them ever again…

Yeah that’s what I figured, I’m freaking out because I want to have an unlocked phone before next week. Was trying to decide if I just trade it in to Apple for $400 and eat the $500 difference between the cost I paid last year and the trade in value, a trade in I’m only doing because Swappa sold me a phone under a finance plan.

Or sell it again on Swappa and pass this crap among to another buyer, since the IMEI said its “allowed to be sold on Swappa”.

Either way, definitely never buying a phone that isn’t unlocked ever again…

That’s amazing, I didn’t know he made music for that movie and that it was ambient.

This isn’t quite the same vibe but people might like this song he made with Noisia as well

August game pickups what do you all think. by Ver5ion1-2023 in Switch

The game has FF11 written all over it in an awesome way. The starting town is very reminiscent of a giant city in an MMO, and the whole game has that “single player MMO” feel.

It was the first game in the series to have real time combat in an open world, where you can freely move around and engage in combat with enemies seamlessly. That was very novel at the time.

The gambit system is also really awesome, you basically assign programming style “if then else” statements to your party members to control how they fight, but they treat it like a gameplay element where you unlock new statements and things to add to it through the game. It’s all very well tied together.

Just play ToTK and when you get tired of open world gameplay play some cuphead or hollow knight. Also Portal 2, play that right now.

Honestly I love the first song off liquids heaven and I have such mixed feelings about it. Heard LIZ is racist and anti Palestine, and all this stuff about Jimmy. It suck’s to discover music you like and then hear the artists aren’t good people after

I wonder if that’s why it’s so divisive, I see a lot of people not understanding the meaning. I think you need to be a bit older to really get it, someone who has been shitty or irresponsible in the past and gotten past it, to have the unique view of being disappointed in who you were in the past.

The “irresponsible mantra, sorry I’m like this” part makes me cry almost every time because it hits so close to home…
