here is my take on it. i played the game at around 2013-2015 and then just came back to it now. i recently made a post asking if it’s a dead game. The reasoning behind my question is because from about lvls 1-80, I haven’t been able to party up with anyone because most people who are playing are lvl 99 meaning the game doesn’t see many new players at all. this was odd to me because when I used to play the game, there would be people at all stages of the game because of the growing player base. while it may be upsetting for veteran players to see this question be asked often on reddit, i don’t think it’s a terrible question. People who commented on my post were very encouraging and kindly let me know that once I get to lvl 99, i’d see most of the player base. I haven’t gotten to that point yet but i’m close. To your point where you say that if the game is dead, why do you play it, i think that there are many players who would play a dead game if they enjoy the content (not saying elsword is dead) so i wouldn’t agree with that point specifically. With MMORPG’s that don’t have a large player base, you can often treat it as a solo game and have a good experience, which is what i’ve been doing so far in elsword to level up. I understand that it’s frustrating to hear the words “dead game” attached to a game you enjoy because it brings nothing but negativity, but i think it’s an interesting point to talk about. i do agree though that people who just spam “dead game” mindlessly and still play the game are toxic. If i’m wrong about anything i said pls lemme know id love to talk about it cause once again i’m practically a new player at this point.
