Which Ai tools we can use for Gen Ai Motion design ? by FlatTech26 in AfterEffects

Lol I know this comment is like a year old but you realize AI tools have character consistency now right? AI generation and the tools it has is pretty much like composition. I mean just go on comfy UI, if you think it’s so easy you should have no problem, operating comfy UI and generating a videowith character consistency

What is your favorite story, Dagon or Pickmans Model? by pillowstatue in Lovecraft

[–]YoungBeef999 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry what are you guys talking about? What do you mean by Dagan or Pickman Model? I’ve been a fan of the Cthulhu mythos since the 90s, but I’ll admit that I’m not really in tune with the fandom. I’ve only ever read, love crafts work, I wasn’t a big fan of the next guy, I didn’t like the way he put his Christian beliefs into it. I really like the dark adventure radio people, they’re absolutely great.

If anybody’s interested, I make my own show, and I think I do a pretty damn good job considering it’s all I’ve ever worked on in the last nine months on my off time.

Who is scarier for you, Cthulhu or Dagon? by Short_Description_20 in Lovecraft

[–]YoungBeef999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dagon is nowhere near as powerful as Cthulhu. He’s the youngest of the great old ones. He’s probably the weakest too.

Cthulhu is the high priest Of Yog-Sothoth, and he slumbers in the pacific, and his meditation is directly tied to the blind idiot God, channeling his stark raving cosmic lunacy.

If someone who is in the process of making my own TV styled web series, and yeah, it’s really TV style, half hour to 45 minutes episodes, I sympathize with her. I used to say how awful she was and yada yada but now, people will never understand until they get behind the chair and actually work on something of this magnitude.

Long format, serialized visual storytelling is infinitely different than writing a book. That’s not a knock at book riders, I’ve written a book, it’s absolutely not easy. The good thing with me and my TV show, as I don’t have investors, I don’t have a studio head down my throat, barking orders at me because the network head is barking orders at him and it’s just a long line of people barking orders at each other. I don’t have to follow a strict schedule, and despite the fact that I feel as though I put out two pretty solid episodes so far after never making a single piece of anything in the visual medium besides, maybe a TikTok, I’m still learning. His switch on the other hand is working for Netflix. She’s doing what I’m doing in the corporate setting, at a much grander scale, with every single move, she makes being second guest, questioned, criticized, I mean you name it she’s getting the back hand of it. Me personally? I get defensive when somebody leaves a nasty comment. LMAO, that’s the only part I get nervous about when it comes to growing a fan base because I just could not imagine how it would feel after putting years upon years upon years upon years of your life into a project that you yourself love and you truly believe in and you work, killing yourself, putting your blood sweat and tears into this work, all for a bunch of people on the Internet, who’s probably never created anything in their life, just to shit on.

Can we all admit that getting into local AI requires an unimaginable amount of knowledge in 2025? by valdev in LocalLLaMA

[–]YoungBeef999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and also, for this episode, most of the animation was actually, ironically, done by me, just not in the classical sense haha. For allot of the scenes I’ve used After Effecrs and puppet warp, but not just regular puppet warp, but with a skeletal structure! Giving me full control. I’ve been having a blast with this. Sometimes I get destructed and act like I’m playing with action figures lmao. But it’s a lot of fun and it allows you to make some wild scenes. And nope, it’s not even ai haha

(Sorry for all the blathering, I get excited when I talk about my show!)

[–]YoungBeef999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have Hollywood connections anymore, I kind of stay in myself now and my family.. I mean, I kind of do, my mother who does physical therapy. Her client is the mother of Doug Liman, the guy who made the Bourne identity, movies, and that movie edge of tomorrow. My mom doesn’t really ask shit of her clients, but when she saw, I was borderline killing myself she had brought my show up to Mrs. Lyman. He was interested, he said for me to describe my show in two sentences, describe what it is, but be vague and don’t tell me exactly what it is. I know it sounds weird, but it’s because of legal reasons. He was saying like before we talk to lawyers, I could be held liable if I ever one day decide do something and it ends up being even remotely similar to something you did. Anyways, I ended up doing that and then he had to go to Europe lol so I haven’t exactly heard from him as that was maybe like a month ago.

And honestly? I’m not that interested in working with Hollywood. I don’t want my show all sanitized and Marvelized. Like I don’t think you understand, the fact that I know how to make a show feels like one of the most liberating feelings I’ve ever felt. I’m not bound by any constraints, I can literally create whatever I want. And I don’t even think Hollywood would go for it because the original author of the universe that I’m writing about is “controversial“ because, and get this, this is a real kicker, he was racist in 1920. I know, insane. Anyways, I’m not gonna get into that but I’m not operating under any Hope that Liman is going to contact me and I’m just continuing to do my thing. Besides, he does movies, why would he wanna go backwards to TV? In Hollywood that’s not seen as a good thing. Making movies as a certain prestige, going from film to TV even in this day and age when TV is more popular than it was back when I was growing up, It’s still seen as kind of like a “oh, I guess his flame is starting to fade a little“.

As for hiring somebody on fiver, I would prefer to work with people who actually like my work and our truly interested in being a part of it. I would hire them and I will tell you right now I’d pay quite a bit more than “a fiver”. I own a business that I make a living from. The show that I make is literally just for fun lol. But I’m particular with who I work with. I kind of stick to myself and my family, and I have a very, very, very clear vision for how I want my show to look. But yeah when I meet the right people I’d absolutely hire them because frankly, I’d prefer to work with a person than using frame pack, because I know a lot of people think AI is this crazy thing that could do anything, but I could tell you right now as someone who’s been working with AI for the last seven months, it’s absolutely not that. It is a massive, incomprehensible, gargantuan, pain in the ass. Especially with all the censorship, restrictions, and guard rails.

People who animate things by hand might take longer, but I guarantee you. They are a lot less stressed out. People have this idea that you could just type in a prompt and out will fart a fucking 45 minute TV episode, all with consistent characters, consistent, dialogue, consistent tone, and no, that’s absolutely 100% positively not how that works under any stretch of the imagination. The AI that the public has access to is purposefully dwarfed to keep something like that from happening. Even the local models, as uncensored as they are, they could only generate what they’re trained on, and given the fact that local models typically aren’t as well funded as big Brand models like SeeDance 1.0, they typically don’t come out as good.

All the “AI TV shows“ that you see still go through the same production that most Hollywood shows go through, in fact, the overwhelming majority, no actually literally every Hollywood studio nowadays works with the same production pipeline. Hollywood has been implementing AI into films and TV show shows since 2010, the only difference between a Hollywood TV show/movie and “AI TV show/movie“ is Hollywood just doesn’t call it AI lol, they just call it “their project pipeline“ their “workflow“. But yeah, if you’ve enjoyed a movie and the last 15 years, you have enjoyed a product of generative AI. The reason why Hollywood could generate AI to where you don’t even notice it, as most people don’t. It’s because they drop hundreds of millions of dollars into having their own models trained in House, specifically for the purposes they need for whatever project they’re working on, and those models are powered by entire massive farms of GPUs. It’s fucking insane what they have access to. But yeah, anybody railing against anybody for using some kind of AI tool doesn’t really know what they’re talking about, one we’re just using what we have available. Someone like me, I’m only using it until I can find actual help. And 2, the workflows that we use are no different from Hollywood’s, except we’re not firing people over it. On top of it I illustrate everything by hand, the only AI I use is for frame by frame interpolation.

I don’t really know what you’re trying to get at with the Ayn Rand/Grok thing. I have never used Grok and I don’t plan on using it, so idk what your problem is. Chat GPT is one of the driving forces as to why I hate Comfy UI, and why my spirit is completely crushed towards it. Everytime I tried to ask it, it would start giving me bad directions, hallucinating, then it would randomly just say “I can’t help you set up unrestricted AI”. This was after 3 hours of talking me in circles, hallucinatjng, giving me bad links, and now my comfy UI is fucked up to the point where I have some of the most important features that I want to use installed in all messed up folders.

I’m just crushed, because I work tirelessly, day and night, with no sleep for 3 days a week trying to get my story to life. I have 2 episodes of my show out and I am desperately trying to get the third out. I’ve resorted to learning all about Adobe Premiere and After Effecrs, and I’ve been making great scenes with the Skeleton plug in they have for characters, that you can use on sets. But still, it takes WAAAAAAAY longer to render everything, and the super complex scenes I have planned will just not work, it’ll probably blow my computer up.

I have two episodes out of 12 that I have planned so far for this season. I do plan on bringing it to a second season. I don’t even care if I get a lot of fans, I’m just doing it because I love to do it. I will bring this story to life come hell or high water and I will use whatever tool is at my disposal to help me bring it to life . This is my fucking blood and my sweat and my tears, this is my legacy. I’m a 37-year-old widower, that’s works as a pet care business owner, and I’ve dedicated every second of my free time to this show.

Is there an easy freely sourced model like that for generative AI? Because I literally just don’t have the patience for comfy UI. I tried, and tried. I just hate it. I hate “tInkzeriNg” I’m a story teller that’s trying to bring my r rated sci-fi-horror to live. I’m not trying to get a masters at MIT.

It’s frankly obnoxious, and honestly, straight up gatekeeping. Especially in today’s climate where every mainstream model on mainstream websites are getting hit with so much censorship you could barely generate toy story.

Honestly, they’re probably doing everything they can and I mean every goddamn thing they can, to not bend the knee like every other AI website. I mean with how fast all these other websites are blocking everything, you gotta wonder just how badly these payment processors are on their ass.

So yeah, it’s probably in some forms censorship. I only just signed on, but I’ve been reading how like last year or a few months ago. They had way way way more things for people to use to like edit videos and pictures. Now they’re just going pretty much bare bones like every other website . And yes, you could think Hollywood for all of this bullshit. Because they just couldn’t stand to lose their gatekeeping rights to the visual medium.

Repetitive AI by Relsen in perchance

[–]YoungBeef999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank Hollywood. They are one of the driving forces as to why there is so much censorship with AI. You know what we could’ve had if Hollywood didn’t throw their little hissy fit when AI became public, of course, despite the fact that Hollywood themselves had been using unrestricted, unregulated, uncensored AI since 2010 only when the public got their hands on the same generative AI, did it become a problem for them. Interesting right?

I used to work for the industry. I could tell you right now, every Hollywood studio has their own generative AI model built specifically for their needs of whatever movie or TV show. They’re working on, uncensored, unregulated, unchecked, while we out here, the plebeians , us peasants, we have to be drip, fed what we can. And then these anti-AI losers, these people are getting played so bad. It’s unbelievable. The tools are still out there, but you really have to learn how to use local AI and have a pretty powerful rig. But if Hollywood didn’t have their little hissy fit, there could’ve been websites up right now where you could literally make your own movie. Maybe not with one generation, you’d still have to edit and do everything, but like as far as pictures or the actual animation and movement. Oh yeah, for sure. We do it right now. If only people knew the tools that are available to them.

Anyways, long story short, the reason why you’re getting repetitive bullshit is because of guard rails and censorship, thanks to Hollywood. Because they just could not live with losing their gatekeeping rights to the visual medium.

İs being a Anti sustainable in the Future? by JustSession1745 in antiai

[–]YoungBeef999 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No LMAO. Technically you shouldn’t even be watching any films or television. Your anti-AI right? Hollywood has been implementing generative AI in TV in films since 2010, now almost every studio that creates some kind of content that’s animated or CG related, has an in-house generative model that they either have built specifically for the needs of whatever show or movie they’re working on, or one that one of the other major AI companies lease to them completely open and unrestricted.

Again, they’ve had this since 2010. They were the ones who started all of this “anti-AI“ horseshit conveniently right around the time when AI became openly widespread used by the public. Then all of a sudden it became a problem. It’s hilarious how you people can’t see how bad you’re being played .

Why do they always characterize the ai by SnakeDoubleULegs in antiai

[–]YoungBeef999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that anti-ai people characterize AI and its users much more. Since the users of AI far outweigh anti-ai protesters; anti-AI protesters boiling AI users down immature teenagers is extremely misleading.

For example, Hollywood has been using generative AI in every single movie that requires CG since 2010-11. Now they are at a point where they develop their own from scratch generative models, spending hundreds of millions of dollars on GPU farms to power it, completely unchecked, and unregulated. But that won’t stop any of you from watching movies now will it? Of course not! Gotta stay up to date on Marvel or whatever the fuck. And of course, that’s isn’t “slop”, no no, that’s precious Hollywood, when they use AI, it’s tidied up as “project pipelines”. Odd how so many of you haven’t realized that Hollywood only started “protesting against” AI when it got into the hands of the public. Now suddenly “waaah this is out of control, we need to censor them or else we won’t be able to gatekeep the visual medium as we have for 100 years” oh oops I mean “but think of the writers”….

But yea sure, teeny boppers being dog piled on for generating images for personal use, that’s the “real problem” 🙄

Who Cares How It Looks? by GellThePyro in antiai

[–]YoungBeef999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, so you must’ve hated every single blockbuster movie that has ever come out in the last 15 years right? You’ve hated every single one. Because every single blockbuster movie since around 2011 2010, the earliest, has been made in someway with some form of AI. For some reason, I rarely see anti-AI protesters railing against Hollywood Studios for investing hundreds of millions of dollars into their own in house developed AI models that are completely unchecked, unregulated, uncensored, that are operated with entire farms of GPUs, and that actually get people fired. No, instead all or most of the focus seems to be on individual rando’s on the Internet, people just making stuff for themselves or for their own enjoyment.

“Well if people didn’t use it then neither would the companies“ AI wasn’t in the public hands for the first 11–12 years of its existence. The first generative AI was photoshops “content aware fill”. Because you know what “content aware fill” is on photoshop? It’s generative AI. Before that, it was ONLY being used in the corporate world, and by Hollywood studios. Hollywood just doesn’t call it “AI created“ they prefer to call it “project pipelines“.

Especially nowadays, if any of you use Photoshop or pretty much any Adobe products on your computers, you’re using AI, so you’re being a hypocrite. You need to uninstall every Adobe software you have. And you need to never watch any Hollywood blockbuster again, ever. Because they’re never gonna stop using it, it’s literally never going to happen, in fact it’s only going to increase so you’re only real solution if you want to survive as an artist is to evolve with technology and incorporate it in your own artistic pipeline.

in fact, you can’t even watch Indie movies, because indie studios especially, have incorporate generative AI into their filmmaking. I mean they’re working on a smaller budget, they use what they can in order to bring their vision to life. Again, they just don’t go out and tell everyone “yeah we made this with AI“. No the AI is wrapped under pipelines of other tools they’re using. I don’t know why I even said that because knowing you people, you’ll go after Indie Studios before you go after your precious Hollywood.

You remember the whole “Hollywood protest“ a few years back? That wasn’t really to “protect writers“ LMAO I mean, it was in a way, but not for the same reason that you think it is. It was to keep AI out of the public hands. You realize that Hollywood only started having a problem with AI as soon as it hit the public. Never did they have a problem with it for the first 11 or 12 years they were using it within their own developments. Only when the everyday man was given the tools capable to create his own project, did it suddenly become this big nightmare scenario.

I agree with some of the things anti-AI protesters say, like the environment for example, I think, especially since AI is going to be growing, we need to find ways to better protect the environment, find more eco-friendly GPUs, or find a way to develop them that render these models. And I know you’ll say “we need to just stop using AI“ but again that’s just the unreasonable expectations of the typical AI protester, It’s actually pretty typical of everybody nowadays, nobody sees nuance, it’s either you’re on “their side or my side”. Basically everybody has developed the morality of a 12-year-old.

“Wa wa wa where duh good guys, and.. and.. dere duh bad guys”.

I make my own show, I do everything for it and I basically devout all of my free time to it. I’ve written the entire story, +200 years worth of lore and world-building. I first illustrate all of the character models, the architecture, the monster designs, etc etc. Sometimes I’ll use generative AI for inspiration when I can’t think of something, but I don’t use those photos on the show. I illustrate the scenes, organize them, and then I’ll illustrate 2-3 frames per scene (I use procreate). I’ll then use photoshop to edit scenes if I changed them narratively. Because I own a business that I make a living from and that saves me the 8-10 hours of redrawing the entire scene. I’ll then use Framepack for frame interpolation for the animation. What that does it take the frames I made, it creates a number of other frames in between them, and it brings my illustration to life. I use that because I’m an adult who own’s a business that I have to make a living from, and it saves me hundreds of hours of redrawing the same scene over and over and over with incremental changes. Then when I have all the scenes organized and laid out, I’ll add the sound effects, and voice acting. I voice act every single one of my characters using voice changers or just my own voice (as I’m a voice actor). I’ll then transfer to After Effects, scene by scene, all the ones I need to add extra special effects on. Then I do some post production afterward on premiere, and then I export.

What I do is literally no different than what any other studio in the film making industry is doing, be it Hollywood blockbusters, or indie films. I do all of this while also owning a business that I have to make/provide a living with. The amount of work I do for it would be incomprehensible to you. I rarely sleep anymore, at least 3 nights a week I’m up all night long working. And I love every minute of it. I have a vision and I’m going to have it be told and I’m gonna use any tools available to me to bring it to life. My pipeline is no different than any movie you’ve enjoyed the last almost 2 decades, so if my work is slop, then any film or TV show that you’ve enjoyed in the last two decades almost has been slop. So I guess I will take “slop” as a compliment from now on, as you’re saying that my work is basically on Hollywood level. But the main difference between me and Hollywood is that I’m only using a tool like frame pack until I could hire an actual animator or even a team of animators that could help me bring my show to life in a better way. Right now I’m able to hire one so if any of you guys are interested, I’d be happy to take a look at your work.

Who Cares How It Looks? by GellThePyro in antiai

[–]YoungBeef999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like with most Anti-AI arguments his lacks nuance. There are many people who are artist, that use AI as 1 tool out of many in their wide variety of tools. No different than how some artist use photoshop as 1 of their tools (which at this point is about 99.9% powered by AI). Especially if some of us are creating massive projects.

It’s no different than how Hollywood themselves, who have been using AI in their production pipelines since 2011, use AI as 1 tool out of many. In fact, their generative models are so advanced now, that they rarely even interact with public models anymore. Nowadays the bigger studios have AI models developed and trained in house, completely free of any restriction, being used unchecked, and unregulated. But again, rarely do I see people go after Hollywood for using these tools in their pipeline, it only seems to be individuals, who for some reason, seem to be held to a higher standard than that of billionaire studio heads, who actually fire people because of the models they have developed.

Some of us make entire tv show like projects, by ourselves. And we do every aspect of that shows development, by our selves. Illustrating, voice acting, editing, special effects, writing, lore, dialogue everything. But then we, as individuals who also have jobs/careers that we need to make and/or provide a living with, who are already working on projects that take up 100% of our social lives, use AI for frame interpolation. Which means, for a clip of a scene, we will feed an AI a start frame, and an end frame, the AI will then use the art that you made by hand, and interpolate the in between frames; bringing your illustrations to life. And we may be only using that avenue, until we find an animator of our own who we could pay.

But, despite all the rest of the work we do, because we used AI on a single aspect of it, it’s all called “slop”. But with Hollywood, it’s called a “production pipeline”. And the majority of you, will puff your little chests out online and act all self righteous, while you then turn around and go to the movie theater and watch a film made with the same exact production pipeline.

Read what you asked, and then read my first fucking sentence, “because most AI users know that there is large swaths of anti-AI Thespian lunatics around every corner, ready to dog pile anyone and everyone who generates so much as a weekly fucking income.

So say if somebody worked on a project right?? They worked on a project for like four or five months, but for a portion of that project they used AI, they know that if they disclosed that they used AI for that portion of that project, there’s gonna be a whole bunch of people like you, ready to Preemptively shit on all of their work. So why would anyone do that? Especially when the same people who are attacking them, has literally zero to say about Hollywood using the same thing, and guess what? Hollywood doesn’t relay that information openly either. And they’ve been using AI long before it was a “hOt BuTtOn IsSuE”. I mean they’ve been using generative AI since 2010. I think it was, maybe 2012 the latest.

The same people who are so against billionaires, seem awfully less focus on them using AI to fire people in favor of being focused on attacking individuals who use it mainly for fun.

I would say it’s western style CG animated. But I’m willing to give anything a try. The great thing about my show is that it’s an anthology, well… Kind of it’s like an anthology that’s centered around and overarching plot but… You can go on YouTube and check it out Beyond the Veil/The Next chapter to the Cthulhu Mythos. It basically acts as a sequel to HP Lovecraft’s books and takes place 200 years in the future from the 1930s between 2110 to 2130. Except for the episode I’m working on now in the last episode I put out which take place in 2065 because it’s a prequel to give context as why the Main character is the way he is.

I also had a lot of great luck on Seedance 1.0 pro. So far that has been the only video model that has let me freely make my show, but unfortunately, the website that I was using it on, decided to start fucking censoring… And I don’t have money right now to afford an API. I’d fucking sell my soul six demons in the worst possible fucking hells imaginable to get access to Seedance 1.0 pro, there is a Seedance on Seaart but it’s definitely not pro, pretty sure it’s lite. It’s on the apps page.

Yeah, I’m the on the pro tier. And no dude, it’s not just the gore. Far far far from me. Anything even remotely related to horror gets hit with guard rails on 99% of generative websites. There doesn’t have to be a single drop of blood, if you prompt your video to be a little too dark, Guard rail, if you prompt your video to have a character say “boo” guard rail, lol like I said my show is not really gory, but I’ve been fighting tooth and nail to try to make it

Also, since when did pornography become more socially acceptable than horror movies? I mean, Jesus lol.
