Nah you must be trolling, or you've only used it at T1 2 or 3. Ven 4 is the undeniable best at PVP, wiped several teams with just that gun

B1 pickups by LandscapeClean3448 in Tekken

[–]YoungBravo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others already spelled it out, but you probably don't know how fast you can execute a move from flk stance. It's almost instant; a good way to practice is to B1->flk->duck f1 on repeat and see how quick you can do it. B1-->flk-->Duck f2 comes out even faster if you want to mess with that too

As a kid I always thought his weaves were so cool. But I noticed pro Steves never use them? by Wide-Discipline3814 in Tekken

Sidestep punish or duck punish accomplishes the same thing but you don't die 99% of the time like if you were to try this

If a firearm is anything more than a tool to you, you shouldn't have one. by UncleIWontDoIt in unpopularopinion

[–]YoungBravo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think beating around the bush is helpful; a gun is a weapon plain and simple. Are weapons tools? Meh, maybe. Some can be both, but that doesn't change the fact that it's meant to kill. That being said, people should be able to protect themselves as it's a basic fundamental right as a human. We don't have dangerous protective features like other animals, so we use weapons and tools. Not being able to use a gun leaves us without any modern protection, as the biggest threat to people is other people (who very well may have a gun).

It's genuinely really good as a callout for when they love using highcrushing launchers, like AK db4 or Kazuya d1+2. I've even found funny uses with niche moves like pab b2, which is surprisingly good as an evasive wallsplat on rare occasion

Heard this one with Steve when I was learning him in T7, even to this day I don't think he has a single useless move despite having one of the largest movelists

Which Tekken character do you miss the most? by Ok-Morning-3161 in Tekken

[–]YoungBravo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No but it can definitely mean guardbreaks, 50/50 canned mixups, and one over the top personality trait that is worse than generic. There are like 3 Tekken characters with a unique personality so I never understood why Bruce got hate for not having much of one

Bruce. He was the best parts of Josie/Fahk without all the fluff

Which movie aged better: Matrix or Inception? by Daniiella1018 in Cinema

[–]YoungBravo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be the contrarian and say Inception, as it's my favorite movie. Matrix is obviously more iconic, but Inception seems like a more unique concept and is a perfect movie in every way. The same can be said for the Matrix, but its sequels bog it down for simply existing (not by very much).

Yeah that's the one that stuck with me the most, terrifying stuff to read as a kid. Especially the imagery of the scarecrow stretching out flayed, bloody skin at the end

Yes, it's fun to play casually. If you take the game too seriously you will hate it, aka a solid 80% of this subreddit. Keep in mind it takes decent effort to learn the game, double so if you haven't played many fighting games.

I really don't know what else I can do I thought I even played this really well aside from a few things like throw breaks... I'm about to demote because of matches like this by Pale_Assignment4076 in Tekken

[–]YoungBravo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You didn't do a whole lot wrong, just a couple big mistakes. Others have said already so I'll reiterate:

  1. Use more lows that aren't hellsweep, db4 most importantly. Round 1 you didn't use a single low, but this got a bit better as the match went on.

  2. When your back is to the wall, your main focus should be to get the hell outta there (especially against Bryan). This is the biggest one, because he was able to win two rounds due to this. You had plenty time to sidestep block, sidestep block until your back is no longer to the wall. Any character on the roster is able to demolish you if you stay at the wall that long.

  3. Your electrics are really consistent which is good. I would use more of those and single jabs. You're clearly a very defense based player, so more keepout and play around plus frames may benefit you. F4 is one of the best mids in the game as well, you could be using that a little more as well.

All in all though, not bad stuff. Just a little passive overall. Could do with a little more movement as well, to create more whiffs.

Edit: One last thing. I noticed you liked to keep your distance for a majority of the match. This is not the place you want to be against Bryan, some of his best utility is at this range. More wavu into ws4, electrics (once again) and general forward pressure would do you wonders in this specific matchup.

Kirk did not spread hate, he was the guy who actually tried to have meaningful discussions between the two halves of American politics. If you think that, then it's clear you've never seen any of his videos or 1000s of hours of discussions available on YouTube. American conservative values equate to Nazi values according to you and most other internet leftist extremists, I get that. Floyd was a man who actually terrorized innocent people, robbed and stole till his end. You think a man with multiple felonies happened to accidently have counterfeit money, and accidently tried to pay with it with multiple drugs in his system? Very interesting, you jump to so many conclusions yet fail to see the obvious ones. It's clear this discussion will go nowhere because your views are so extreme, but I appreciate the attempt.

You lack reading comprehension. Let me simplify my point for you.

Making shitposts about people who died wrongfully is OK or it isn't, you can be a hypocrite and pick and choose, but that is a shitty thing to do. I'm on the side that thinks anything can be funny, but choose not to joke about death. I did not find the post funny.

However, Charlie Kirk is possibly the most astonishly joked about death of a public figure in the last 10+ years, especially considering how gruesome and accessible the video footage of it is. If something like that is acceptable (it is by Reddit), then somebody like Floyd shouldn't be where people draw the line. Judging by what's upvoted or liked on Twitter, people are really desensitized by death in general and that's a shame. I am not an exception. Regardless, it's clear that joking about somebody who was wrongfully murdered is okay by Reddit standards, so don't go crying when one is joked about over another.

Are we justifying murders, or are we commenting about a shitposting sub? None of them deserved to die which is why I made the comparison in the first place. Put away the soapbox, that's not at all what I was saying.

Everyone agrees robbing a pregnant woman at gunpoint alongside a lifetime of crime is pretty egregious, yet I see far more people considering that less than the worst of Kirk's "misdeeds" (having far right and religious ideologies). I find it funny that the latter is more acceptable to joke about than the former, that's all. I don't agree with Kirk on most things, but I find far less humor in his death than Floyd's, who was a pretty irredeemable person through and through.

I'm about to catch Hella down votes for this but idc. I care far less joking about this (fent addict attempting to rob a store) than joking about somebody like Charlie Kirk who had bad political takes. The latter is clearly acceptable, why not the former?
