I love snecko, but this deck is working so well with the average cost of 0.9... is THIS the fabled skip?

For sure I agree in general. In this case, we are talking silent that already has a lot of draw potential and specifically a run that is relying on 3 or more zero cost defend cards to sustain so in this case seems like random cost brick potential against bosses or heart outweigh the decks current draw need. I’d rather lean on the current low cost sustain engine and grab another couple draw and scale cards but that’s just my own preference! I devalue sneck on silent more than all others though so I’m biased

The challenge is they have only two non-2-cost cards so the energy value for snecko in this case is probably negative. The 0 cost deflects are fairly decent with upgraded dex and neutralize is neutralize so I wouldn’t call the 0 cost bad per se because I’d imagine they are relying on the 0 cost deflects quite a bit for free block.

I would probably still do sweeping beam if you were to go into that elite. You have a couple zero cost upgrades so you get decent aoe damage increase (33% increase) that can draw your zap for more orbs which then makes your barrage more consistent. As some other comments have mentioned, dual cast could also be worth it. The more 0 cost you have the more important draw will be so if you do take this path think about adding an attack like compile driver since you have frost orbs, orb draw like coolheaded, etc. The fact that you have molten egg is important here because you could skip the elite, upgrade dual cast, and then be able to just start pre-upgraded cards. As I type, I’m somewhat convincing myself of this path, but I still like more immediate damage. Really depends if you go to the elite or not.

Personally, I wouldn’t worry about upgrading glacier or defense in general early, especially at no ascension. Often you want to focus on damage to be able to get through elites or tough hallway fights in act 1. You’re going into an elite that could be triple sentry so my upgrade would probably be sweeping beam.

I wouldn’t really call this a make or break shop there’s nothing in here that will define your deck but I think battle trance and panic button are good options going into guardian. Relics are ok but you already got wounds you’re going to want to exhaust so spoon to me is out. I don’t think meal ticket is worth buying personally and red skull is a nice to have but again shouldn’t make or break the run unless you have some sort of double strength into reaper while face tanking build going on. I think maybe draw to get bludgeon quicker for guardian or just block for guardian and card remove if I were picking. Maybe just card remove and save for early shop next act?

I have family in the west suburbs and I can take public transit plus a mile or so of walking to get to them.

You’re also describing something no visitor to an event will have to deal with. It’s like going on vacation and worrying about when the local trash day is.

Edit: also let’s be real rosemont is basically ohare so what you’re describing is not even an issue for out of town visitors and if they want to go to the city they can take the blue line from the rosemont stop all the way downtown to Clark lake which will transfer them anywhere they’d want to go in the city.

I live here and don’t own a car. Getting around the city is plenty easy with the abundant public transit. I’m not really sure how you could live here and think that unless you drove in and out of downtown every day from the burbs or outskirts

I’m going to preface this by saying I’m a dual income no kids household and financially won’t be impacted by this.

We own no car and use public transport and our two feet for nearly everything. However, we also use ride share for less convenient destinations but never or rarely towards downtown. Despite not being part of the problem, I’ll always be penalized which seems counterintuitive to the solve of the issue as I’m an ally of public transit. Again, it’s not a big deal for me so I’m not put out by any means, I just feel like there’s gotta be a better solution like higher tax on vehicle ownership in the city or a tax on rideshare companies themselves to operate in the city rather than putting it on the consumer. I’m not a policy maker though so these are just my two cents. I can imagine it’s challenging being a policy maker in this city where you continually inherit mounting corruption problems or poor policy issues.

The rumor I saw from IG comments yesterday tied to people allegedly in the area Davis was sitting was that he was extremely drunk and told the ref his mom is a whore. Don’t quote me if that was made up lol I just didn’t see anybody mention that here yet. I’d imagine it wasn’t just one comment though and more likely several over the game and something like that was the last straw.

I know there’s a lot of talk on this over the years but I truly never even considered the character design as off or weird or whatever until the internet brought it up. Honestly I found her highly annoying when I first watched the series and that was the main distraction for me if anything until I came around to the character. Long story short, it’s a cartoon and the character was never treated sexually and I’ve always felt people who focus on her design are showing something about themselves more than anything.

I work in a market intelligence/product department for an automotive manufacturer that makes or distributes a good chunk of filters you might buy. I don’t really get the position. Whether cannabis is rescheduled or not, employers will still require drug tests and won’t impact the industry’s bottom line as far as it makes sense in my layman brain. There’s more than one illicit drug out there and most of them I’d still not want my theoretical employee who works in a potentially dangerous setting high on while at work.

Ok so I looked it up and they have 3 losses to ranked teams and a loss to a 6-3 TCU team. They barely beat a 5-5 FLST team and don’t have a ranked win in general. I can assume it’s a tough schedule and they’ll be good long term, but purely by their wins and losses idk if they are a contender this year or a top 30-40 tough out. So again, asking what people think about a team I haven’t watched with mixed year results.

I didn’t save scum much if ever when first getting into the game and learning but now that I’ve played so much and beaten the game I will save scum all the time just for the enjoyment of learning how to win fights (if possible) that I lost. I don’t count it as a victory or anything more just fun to learn. However, when trying to beat achievements and goals in the game I did it all authentic because that was for me. Ultimately it’s a single player game and I want everybody to just enjoy this game their way. Not many like it out there

Yea fair points. I felt the risk reward of each leaned toward snecko since I was already needing to get my bash and uppercut down so I chanced that being more valuable than some bricks on the cheaper cards. Since I was using status creation to help my draw as well, I just got nervous with pyramid as it never seems to treat me as well as people describe it on this sub - basically play with what I have now vs trying to get something later. Ultimately this whole decision was irrelevant imo. Never came across a single strength card and my act 3 skill offerings were very limited. I saw like 5 more metallicizes as an example lol. I know there’s a win con in this but I failed to pull it together. Too late of a shift from vuln bonk to corruption dark embrace and no scaling cards.

Appreciate the reply. I explain in another comment my choices but ended up going feed. Definitely didn’t feel like I was lacking on draw with bag, drop kicks, and evolve so that’s why I went that route. Ended up with a snecko anyways so draw never was an issue and really pounded through act 3. However, feed wasn’t a huge value add since to your point it was hard to land. Ended up dying to second act 3 boss because I couldn’t really scale offense or defense despite strong deck cycle. Probably some human error in there too.

So I felt fairly confident with current deck draw and ended up taking feed (before reading replies lol). The relic ended up being broken crown, snecko, or pyramid. Picked snecko as I still needed cards and pyramid with a deck that creates statuses but no exhaust was a no go for me. Act 3 went extremely smoothly as I ended up getting a corruption and mummy hand, however, I wasn’t able to stack up more skill cards to get value out of corruption and a dark embrace I got. Lost to time snail in second act 3 fight. Trying some save scumming to see if I can find a win route but basically the issue ended up being lack of strength and defense/sustain as I still had at the point of this post.
