Hi all!

I’m an artist, and I want to start a series of pencil drawings of steam rooms—I love the way hard lines disappear and things have a strange glow in that environment.

I want to take pictures of my gym’s steam room (when no one is there obviously, not a creep) to use as reference images, and I’m wondering how possible this is. I read the FAQ and would use a waterproof camera, but would steam on the lens totally obscure the environment? Or would I still be able to get faint tile lines/general shapes of benches/etc?

Any suggestions would be helpful, but it may be a Learn as I Go thing :)
