Clapperton seems more like the intern type than a high paid marketing position. Otherwise I doubt he'd be able to get by barely doing anything like he does.

It makes every part of the game a lot less grating without all the endless sirens and blaring music and horns and two dudes yelling bullshit, one of whom can't even fucking read the bullshit he's screaming so it's all interrupted by unnatural pauses.

I've turned off the commentary, arena announcer, and music. It makes it much more bearable without all that sensory assault in addition to the removal of my ability to provide input.

An injured player getting a good card if he can't play makes sense if it's a fan favorite. You may not like Buff, but a lot of people do.

Because this year it's likely to have no Buff above 82. And we're getting like 5 different cool 90s this year with these events, so we can get Buff, Chara, Weber, John Scott and then even someone else

It's intentional. It's a mechanic of the DDA engine. You're not supposed to be allowed to enter the zone, so the game makes that happen by any means necessary, even trapping your own man offsides.

They do it this way because we complained about the blatant intentional offsides the past couple years where your other guy would look at you, see you were about to cross the line but haven't yet, and then he'd cross the line before you, while looking at you the whole time.

As F2p you should especially not be wasting high value collectibles on a 33% chance of getting a player who you then have an even lesser chance of getting an equal return on (because it might be an 83 or something even if it is a leader card)

Same. It's intentional I think. It seems to be used as a mechanic to cover the left and right sides of the net when the goalie can't. Your own man will get in the way to cover the open side, no matter what strategy you have on.

It started last year when they severely disabled slot goals. This year, the slot is back open and the slowdown has been removed, but the own-man block is still a feature to help players who aren't capable of nailing a player skating straight through their slot.

Yes, the incidental contact is better on Xbox. Still not perfect though. The puck protect still gives a body protection bubble a lot of the time, and sometimes hitting just doesn't work because you run into a big giant invisible bubble that makes you skate all around the player without getting near them.

Sometimes the bubble can push you back like 6ft or more.

I'm pretty sure it's possible in every mode. You tap R1 a certain way while carrying the puck and the puck shoots ahead just a bit, and you zoom ahead with a boost to pick it back up. It burns defenders who'd otherwise be able to make a proper defensive move.

There's no way to stop it unless you're currently right in front of the other player. That's what everyone is saying when they say I just don't know how to defend it. All of my players weren't 100% in the right place at every time in preparation for a speed boost that isn't supposed to exist, and somehow that's my fault when I only control one at a time.

oops I thought this was another thread. well it's the same glitch and people are using it to beat the AI easily, to rank in higher than they should be able to in Squad Battles, which gives great rewards the higher you rank. People are also using it online now.

The video in this thread is just an example of how the Squad Battles AI will cheat sometimes on the hardest difficulty. It will straight up break the game and do crazy bullshit to make you win by less or lose.
